Mr Ffox
We may know very little about bird flu but I do know that the chickens and birds died in the suburb where I work in Thailand along with a few children. Thailand is the world's 3rd largest exporter of chickens. Was anyway. So they took this very serious. So now that its moved on, I will tell you the after affects of whats coming you way in the near future. Remember migrating season hasn't begun in your part of the world yet, soon.
Expect chicken meat to disappear off the shelfs. Its quite a big part of our diets. Then it will slowly come back at expensive prices. The price never did return to where it should have. Then there will be another outbreak. More farmers go bust. Anyway what you will find soon is that this is serious and will affect you directly. Don't look the other way too long to save a few dollars Ffoxx. It's real.

And this bird thing....well let's step up folks prudently...as we know nothing about bird flue...DOES IT REALLY EXIST...or is it another scheme to make monies for chemical labs? HAVE people really died of BIRD FLUE? Who do you believe when most doctors are paid by labs, when most EXPERTS of the prestigious World Health Organisation (WHO) are medical doctors?

One chap who said something correctly was by the way, DAVID, your Minister of Health about bird flue three days ago: "no one has conclusively died of bird flue as far as we know"....

About 2 weeks ago I noticed that some of the members of my web site were posting rather strange messages for the type of people I knew them to be. It's a military group and they were posting some anti-American crap. Then I would ban them from the group only to get an e-mail saying that their Yahoo ID and password had been stolen. I didn't believe it at first, only then it happened to me! Scary stuff! I just heard on the news tonight about a little security problem with Windows XP and Internet Explorer. They said because of this security flaw hackers can break into your PC and take control of it! Holy Crap I thought! Here's a link that explains the problem. But for now, up-date your pc! My husband set my pc up to automatically up-date, but for some reason it didn't happen, and a friend told me his didn't up-date either, so please check yours, a.s.a.p.! There are a total of 5 up-dates needed to fix this.

Look what I just found on USA Todays Website :D
Online surveillance among spouses grows
NEW YORK (AP) — Suspicious husbands and wives who once might have hired a private eye to find out if their spouses were cheating are now using do-it-yourself technology to check on an increasingly popular hideaway for trysts — the Internet.
Divorce lawyers and marriage counselors say Internet-abetted infidelity, romance originating in chat rooms and fueled by e-mails, is now one of the leading factors in marital breakdowns.

With the surge in cyberaffairs, a new market for electronic spying has developed. Web sites such as Chatcheaters.com and InfidelityCheck.org describe an array of surveillance products capable of tracking a cheating spouse's e-mails and online chats, including some that can monitor each key stroke in real time.

"The traditional detective hired to chase information is being replaced by software that's not terribly expensive but can give you 100 times the information," said John Mayoue, a prominent divorce lawyer from Atlanta.

"It used to be that when you wanted to prove adultery, you would prove it circumstantially," he said. "In the computer era, I can have something that is so graphic, so clear, there's not a whole lot of room for argument."

John LaSage, a Southern Californian, established the Chatcheaters web site after his wife of 23 years left him and their two teenage daughters without forewarning in 1999 to join a New Zealand man she had met online.

Chatcheaters — which offers advice, surveillance equipment and first-person stories of betrayal — averages 400 visitors a day, mostly women, LaSage said. His wares include $450 vehicle trackers and $100 computer-spying programs.

LaSage said he was devastated to discover, after his wife had left, that she had engaged in erotic e-mail and chat room correspondence with several men.

"I tell people to be careful — you have to be prepared for what you're going to see," he said.

Sandra Morris, a San Diego attorney who is president of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, said the spread of Internet infidelity has raised some complicated issues about computer privacy.

"A spouse may have a misplaced sense of entitlement to spy," she said. "There are prohibitions against electronic eavesdropping, though a lot of people feel that when someone's cheating, all bets are off."

Mayoue said federal statutes outlawing interception of electronic communications can apply within a marriage.

"A spouse does have a right to privacy even from his or her own spouse," he said. "I've been on both sides of this — it's the most compelling evidence you'll have in a divorce case, but also the most fraught with potential liability."

A suspicious husband or wife may have no legal grounds for breaking into codeword-protected areas of a spouse's personal computer, but may be able to justify reading an e-mail that was easily retrieved on a shared family computer, Mayoue said.

David Greenfield, a West Hartford, Conn., psychologist and author of the book, "Virtual Addiction," said many spouses who engage in cyberaffairs consider their online romances to be harmless.

"But the spouses of those who are cheating don't see it that way," Greenfield said. "It's often done on the same computer they both use at home. It's like having someone else in your own bedroom."

He said the convenience and seeming anonymity of the Internet have attracted a new breed of adulterers, people who might have been too timid to make their first forays into infidelity face-to-face.

"Affairs have always existed," Greenfield said. "But the fact that you can connect with people all over the world with relative ease and no cost lowers that threshold."

A University of Florida researcher, Beatriz Mileham, studied Internet infidelity as part of her doctoral dissertation, interviewing 76 men and 10 women who used popular chat rooms called "Married and Flirting" and "Married But Flirting."

Most of the participants insisted they loved their spouses but sought a romantic encounter online because of boredom or their a partner's disinterest in sex, Mileham found. She said 24 of the participants ended up having a real-life affair with at least one of the people they met online

A duck waddles into a bar and says “Quack, quack, got any bread?” the barman says “fuck off we don’t serve ducks in here”. A hour later the duck waddles into the bar again and says “Quack, quack, got any bread?” the barman says “I told you to fuck off, we don’t serve ducks in here”. An hour later the duck waddles into the bar yet again and says “Quack, quack, got any bread?” the barman says “Look here Duck, if you ask me for bread one more time, I’m gonna nail your beak to the bar, now FUCK OFF “. An hour later the duck waddles back into bar and says “Quack, quack, got any nails?” the barman says “NO WE FUCKEN

Former President Jimmy Carter told GQ magazine for a January article that he saw a UFO in 1969 in southwest Georgia as he was preparing to speak at a Lions Club meeting. He recalled that it was a bright light that got "closer and closer to us," but then "changed color to blue," then to red, then back to white, and then "receded into the distance." However, he said, "I've never believed it came from Mars." (In September, Paul Hellyer, a former Canadian minister of defense, asked Parliament to hold hearings on extraterrestrials. UFOs, he said, "are as real as the airplanes that fly over your head," and he fears the U.S. military might get Earth involved in an intergalactic war.)

Give 'em time and they will find a way!

I'm not sure if any of you have heard the new Willie Nelson song that was released Valentines Day. It sounds just like any other Willie song, well except when you hear the lyrics. Willie has a song in the Broke Back Mountain movie but it ain't this one lol. Talk about stirring up controversy.

Here are the lyrics, I've searched for a couple of days to finally find them:

Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond of Each Other There's many a strange impulse out on the plains of West Texas;
There's many a young boy who feels things he don't comprehend.
Well small town don't like it when somebody falls between sexes,
No, small town don't like it when a cowboy has feelings for men.

Well I believe in my soul that inside every man there's a feminine,
And inside every lady there's a deep manly voice loud and clear.
Well, a cowboy may brag about things that he does with his women,
But the ones who brag loudest are the ones that are most likely queer.

Cowboys are frequently secretly fond of each other
What did you think those saddles and boots was about?
There's many a cowboy who don't understand the way that he feels towards his brother,
Inside every cowboy there's a lady who'd love to slip out.

Ten men for each woman was the rule way back when on the prairie,
And somehow those cowboys must have kept themselves warm late at night.
Cowboys are famous for getting riled up about fairies,
But I'll tell you the reason a big strong man gets so uptight:

Cowboys are frequently secretly fond of each other —
That's why they wear leather, and Levi's and belts buckled tight.
There's many a cowboy who don't understand the way that he feels towards his
brother;
There's many a cowboy who's more like a lady at night.

Well there's always somebody who says what the others just whisper,
And mostly that someone's the first one to get shot down dead:
When you talk to a cowboy don't treat him like he was a sister
Don't mess with the lady that's sleepin' in each cowboy's head. Cowboys are frequently secretly fond of each other

BBC edits out the word terrorist

The BBC has re-edited some of its coverage of the London Underground and bus bombings to avoid labelling the perpetrators as "terrorists", it was disclosed yesterday

Early reporting of the attacks on the BBC's website spoke of terrorists but the same coverage was changed to describe the attackers simply as "bombers".

The BBC's guidelines state that its credibility is undermined by the "careless use of words which carry emotional or value judgments".

Maybe they should call them the "friendly bombers with a message"
or simply "the parcel guys." Quote Cotties

source: The Telegraph
BBC edits out the word terrorist
By Tom Leonard

The BBC has re-edited some of its coverage of the London Underground and bus bombings to avoid labelling the perpetrators as "terrorists", it was disclosed yesterday

Early reporting of the attacks on the BBC's website spoke of terrorists but the same coverage was changed to describe the attackers simply as "bombers".

The BBC's guidelines state that its credibility is undermined by the "careless use of words which carry emotional or value judgments".

Yesterday I had the opportunity to talk with a lady who works in a national office who handles "foreign resident permits" here in Bordeaux. The other day there were men from North Africa who told her that "she could not help him because she was a woman? She asked why? He replied that he would have to raise his eyes to her and that in his country that simply is not done.

Talked to another lady the other day who lived in a French slum, and, she told me that there was a man who lived down the hall from her in an apt. He was with wife who was pregnant and on welfare ( as her husband disappeared)...The man from Benin took on five wives: he slept with all of them. They were all pregnant and carrying his children in the span of 8 months , all on welfare while he was sitting at home being served and picking up unemeployment insurance.

The worse thing, and this is the funny part...none of these people spoke French. I asked how they were able to live in a country where that is the official language. They had the man's brother come and he was the interpreter. For food, they go to Beninois stores who are owned by Chinese.

We live in exciting times.

I feel so sorry for all the soldiers in iraq going through what they are doing trying to bring a society back together again, the stick these lads get, and when three yobs get caught they bleat on television about their cruelty, give me a gun and i,ll shoot the ******* lot then let them moan about rough justice.

Actually, it's not surprising. The US Government just recently released a report that said that being exposed to second hand smoke would, on average, take 6 years off your life. They also said that staying single would take 9 years off your life, and not attending church regularly would take 10 years off your life. (Well, actually, they said that people who attend church regularly, on average, live 10 years longer than those who don't!)

So, how come we don't have laws requiring that people get married or go to church?? After all, it would improve their health. I am paying taxes that pay for the medical care all these single people are getting -- this has to stop! It is an outrage!!

The news just that just came off the wire 23 minutes ago is that the commcercial seaports of New York and New Jersey, Phialdephia, Baltimore, Miami, and New Orleans will probably be operated by a Dubai (United Arab Emirats) company replacing a British one which has been doing the job.

I guess we will need internal passports (just like the European emigrants that left Europe during the 17th, 18 and 19th centuries) to enter these area.

It's a crying shame that whole parts of the US and other Western countries are being placed into foreign hands.

Have you heard about the Irishman who wanted to play cricket for England? The fascinating thing about Belfast is that whether he makes it to Lords to play for test cricket or not, he will have got there largely unnoticed and unwatched by the majority of his countrymen.
If, as the revered Sir NorfolkDavid proclaimed, “In an England cricket eleven, the flesh may be of the South, but the bone is of the North, and the backbone is Yorkshire”, what place then for Irishman Belfast?

One of the wonderful things about Ireland is that it manages to reduce sports that are considered huge in many parts of the world into underground, almost secretive and virtually invisible little pursuits. So Irish cricket, like basketball or swimming or cycling, belongs to a nation wide clique of oddballs whose sheer love of the sport ensures its survival, however bleak the circumstances. In the Irish consciousness, cricket tends to exist absolutely or not at all. It is astonishing how you can know a person relatively well only to suddenly discover – at times like last month’s engrossing Ashes/Trashes series – that they harbour a fascination to have their name in the little pot of history.

I don't know if this is meant to be funny. I found it under news..my favorite would have to be either 3 or 4...I'll go with 3. The helping in the kitchen bit made me smile.

1*A man sued his doctor because he survived his cancer longer than the doctor predicted.
2*Two robbers were in the process of their crime when one changed his mind and arrested the other.
3*A woman had her husband's ashes made into an egg timer when he died so he could still "help" in the kitchen.
4*Only 68 of 200 Anglican priests polled could name all Ten Commandments, but half said they believed in space aliens

Sent Packing
Charles D. McKinley, 25, of Brooklyn, N.Y., had four weeks of vacation coming, so he decided to visit his parents in DeSoto, Texas. Rather than buy a plane ticket for $320, McKinley, a shipping clerk, packed himself into a shipping crate and air-expressed himself home, charging the fees to his employer. When the crate was delivered to his parents' front step, McKinley pushed out of the box and shook hands with the "shaken and frightened" delivery driver. The driver called the police. After an investigation by the FBI, the U.S. attorney, postal inspectors, the Federal Aviation Administration and the Transportation Security Administration, McKinley was charged as a stowaway, a federal misdemeanor. (Dallas Morning News) ...If he had only waited for the driver to leave, he would have been home free.

Last Friday there was an attempted bombing on one of the large processing oil plants in Saudi Arabia. What annoys me is that they say it was foiled but the price per barrel goes up $2 .

So my comment is- are we that vunerable that just an attempted attack can change our lives and take money out of our pockets?

The problem started when the new owner complained to Bill that he was losing significant amounts of money form his coin machines each week. Beware - Jury Duty Scam
Most of us take those summons for jury duty seriously, but enough people
skip out on their civic duty, that a new and ominous kind of scam has
surfaced. Fall for it and your identity could be stolen, reports CBS.
In this con, someone calls pretending to be a court official who
threateningly says a warrant has been issued for your arrest because you
didn't show up for jury duty. The caller claims to be a jury coordinator.
If you protest that you never received a summons for jury duty, the scammer
asks you for your Social Security number and date of birth so he or she can
verify the information and cancel the arrest warrant. Sometimes they even
ask for credit card numbers. Give out any of this information and bingo!
Your identity just got stolen.
The scam has been reported so far in 11 states, including Oklahoma,
Illinois, Colorado, and TEXAS.
This (scam) is particularly insidious because they use intimidation over the
phone to try and bully people into giving information by pretending they're
with the court system. The FBI and the federal court system have issued
nationwide alerts on their websites, warning consumers about the fraud.
Check it out here: http://www.snopes.com/crime/fraud/juryduty.asp (http://www.snopes.com/crime/fraud/juryduty.asp)

Kirby Puckett, a man who got robbed of his sight, had to leave as an All Star at top of his game, and now suffers a stroke and dies at 45 years old. Not to cheapen their passing, and it is a terrible thing, but what about the people that volunteer to keep us safe, don't make lots of money and are injured and die daily protecting us and our civil rights on a daily basis..... Just kind of a check on our perspective. Wow... that was a rather somber thought huh???

I'm not so sure about that. My 11 year old son has been coming home from school talking about what he and his friends are learning about cyber-bullies. This is a huge problem for middle and high school aged kids and if it protects them, then it could be an ok thing. I can see it passing, but I doubt it could really be enforced.

Actually, if you read it closely, the bill merely states that in New Jersey, the site owner is required to provide his name to the internet provider (nothing new - that is how the bill is paid every month),

and

the site owner must maintain a list of posters on his/her site (also already done because we are required to fill out the enrollment form when we join the site).

The purpose is to be able to stop the flaming that is rampant on publice websites, in which political extremists post inflammatory and libelous data about their opponents.

In truth, the state of New Jersey can do whatever they want, and, in fact, the US can do whatever they want -- simply relocating the site to another state or offshore host eliminates any jurisdiction issues, and protects the site owner from prosecution. (Any law may only be applied in the jurisdiction of the law - a US law cannot be made to apply to Germany, for example).

TEENS' TRUTHFUL REPORT SHOCKS ADULT VIEWERS
BRIAN DICKERSON
Free Press columnist Neil Willoughby and Scott Sobanski say they simply wanted to warn their classmates at Lakeview High School about the hazards of posting personal information on the Internet. And whatever else you may think about the video the two St. Clair Shores teens produced for Devon Fralick's TV broadcasting class, you'd have to concede that, as a piece of journalism, it's been stunningly effective. Willoughby and Sobanski's 8-minute report on http://MySpace.com was broadcast to Lakeview students over the high school's closed-circuit Silver and Blue network last week, and right away, Willoughby says, he and Sobanski knew they had a hit on their hands. "It was the first time everybody was totally silent to watch one of our reports," Willoughby recalled Sunday. "We really got kids' attention." The video, which featured excerpts from the MySpace Web sites of several Lakeview students and an interview with a 25-year-old Internet user who enjoys trolling the popular Web site to look at photos posted by teenage girls, shocked many in the captive audience. "One of the postings was of a sophomore girl in a bikini with a beer in her hand," Willoughby said. "Her mom's really going after the school for that, but the picture was from the girl's own Web site." Willoughby and Sobanski produced their video for the TV broadcasting class taught by Fralick. Hours after it aired last Tuesday, a Lakeview High administrator escorted Fralick from the building and informed students that the 49-year-old teacher had been placed on paid administrative leave pending an investigation into the My-Space video. Fralick, who has taught at Lakeview for nine years and helped students produce a closed-circuit news broadcast each morning for the last several years, declined to speak for the record this past weekend. But students and parents described her as an uncommonly devoted teacher who donated money and video equipment to make the Silver and Blue network possible. Lakeview Public Schools Superintendent Sandra Feeley Myrand told me she decided to place Fralick on leave after viewing the video and becoming alarmed at screen grabs depicting several district students in revealing clothes and/or compromising behavior. Myrand said several students were easily identifiable; Willoughby and Sobanski said all the students' faces were obscured and that only viewers who'd previously visited the MySpace sites in question on their own could have matched them to their authors. Ironically, Myrand told me, her school district had been planning a seminar to make parents aware of the MySpace phenomenon when the students' video aired. The hazards associated with MySpace.com were "absolutely appropriate subject material" for a piece of student journalism, she said, "but a very important message was lost because of the salaciousness of the material that was featured." I understand Myrand's obligation to protect all her students, including those hoisted on their own digital petards in Willoughby and Sobanski's video. But wasn't it possible, I asked the superintendent, that the "very important message" these two student journalists sought to convey had been underlined, rather than diluted, by the provocative images they featured? "I can understand how someone could make that argument," the superintendent conceded. Sobanski says his controversial MySpace report has already succeeded in making the Web site safer. "Our point was that kids never know who's looking at the stuff they post for their friends' benefit," he said. "All the girls whose sites we showed have either taken down their pictures or set their profiles to private," a feature that allows MySpace users to restrict access to Web users they know. Jane Cassady, a teacher's union advocate who is representing Fralick in ongoing discussions with her superiors, says the veteran teacher simply wants to return to the job she loves. "If this episode helps students and parents realize the potential dangers associated with MySpace, it will have been worth it," Cassady says. "In many ways, this has been a teachable moment for everyone involved."

This word " terrorist " should have never been used in the first place to sum up the people or organisiations who attacked America. Fighting terrorism is a lost cause but a noble one. Flying bombers over peoples homes is terrifying but I would never call the Allied forces terrorists.

If local kids walk the streets at night, frighten and assault people of that neighborhood, are they terrorists?

Basically in my sometimes nasty opinion that word has been stolen as a war cry and now needs to be saved for the right people and not cheapened.
i heard on the radio today that someone drove his car into a crowd of students on UNC campus last week. His intent was to kill them to get back at the goverment . there is a big debate on whether or not it is a terrorist act...i and most of the ppl i have spoke with agree that it is

Terrorism: The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.[/I]

How can that NOT apply to someone with no hope of winning an armed conflict, but only seeking to inflict force or violence with the intention of intimidating or coercing the standing government?

Since the driver's goal was to send a message to the American government, it must, by definition, be an act of terrorism.

Soorry, Cotties, your analogy with cheap street thugs doesn't hold water.

No it doesn't hold water and I haven't seen the news item.

I will go and read what he did and why

I still wouldn't call him a terrorist. but I am really uninformed ...shit... I want to read and post.. I don't have time to check it out now..

can't we call him insane and just lock him up.

Ex-teacher takes hostages in French school
18 pupils, two others inside classroom; man's demands unclear

LE MANS, France - An armed former teacher took 18 pupils and two adults hostage in a school in western France on Thursday, local officials said.

Police surrounded the building as the man held the pupils, a teacher and another adult in a classroom in the secondary school in Sable-sur-Sarthe in western France, a spokesman for the town authorities said.

The hostage-taker made no immediate demands. Police did not say what weapon he was carrying but France Info radio said he was armed with a gun.

The spokesman for the local authorities gave no details about the man other than saying he was a former teacher at the school. France Info said he was aged 33.

The mayor of Sable-sur-Sarthe, about 140 miles southwest of Paris, is Francois Fillon, a former education minister.

this has been going around the internet for a while...and i thought y'all would like to see it..

Richard D. Lamm was a Democrat who served as governor of Colorado for twelve years from 1975 to 1987.

I HAVE A PLAN TO DESTROY AMERICA
RICHARD D. LAMM
I HAVE A SECRET PLAN TO DESTROY AMERICA. IF YOU BELIEVE, AS MANY DO, THAT AMERICA IS TOO SMUG, TOO WHITE BREAD, TOO SELF-SATISFIED, TOO RICH, LETS DESTROY AMERICA. IT IS NOT THAT HARD TO DO. HISTORY SHOWS THAT NATIONS ARE MORE FRAGILE THAN THEIR CITIZENS THINK. NO NATION IN HISTORY HAS SURVIVED THE RAVAGES OF TIME. ARNOLD TOYNBEE OBSERVED THAT ALL GREAT CIVILIZATIONS RISE AND THEY ALL FALL, AND THAT "AN AUTOPSY OF HISTORY WOULD SHOW THAT ALL GREAT NATIONS COMMIT SUICIDE." HERE IS MY PLAN:

I. WE MUST FIRST MAKE AMERICA A BILINGUAL-BICULTURAL COUNTRY. HISTORY SHOWS, IN MY OPINION, THAT NO NATION CAN SURVIVE THE TENSION, CONFLICT, AND ANTAGONISM OF TWO COMPETING LANGUAGES AND CULTURES. IT IS A BLESSING FOR AN INDIVIDUAL TO BE BILINGUAL; IT IS A CURSE FOR A SOCIETY TO BE BILINGUAL. ONE SCHOLAR, SEYMOUR MARTIN LIPSET, PUT IT THIS WAY:
THE HISTORIES OF BILINGUAL AND BICULTURAL SOCIETIES THAT DO NOT ASSIMILATE ARE HISTORIES OF TURMOIL, TENSION, AND TRAGEDY. CANADA, BELGIUM, MALAYSIA, LEBANON-ALL FACE CRISES OF NATIONAL EXISTENCE IN WHICH MINORITIES PRESS FOR AUTONOMY, IF NOT INDEPENDENCE. PAKISTAN AND CYPRUS HAVE DIVIDED. NIGERIA SUPPRESSED AN ETHNIC REBELLION. FRANCE FACES DIFFICULTIES WITH ITS BASQUES, BRETONS, AND CORSICANS. II. I WOULD THEN INVENT "MULTICULTURALISM" AND ENCOURAGE IMMIGRANTS TO MAINTAIN THEIR OWN CULTURE. I WOULD MAKE IT AN ARTICLE OF BELIEF THAT ALL CULTURES ARE EQUAL: THAT THERE ARE NO CULTURAL DIFFERENCES THAT ARE IMPORTANT. I WOULD DECLARE IT AN ARTICLE OF FAITH THAT THE BLACK AND HISPANIC DROPOUT RATE IS ONLY DUE TO PREJUDICE AND DISCRIMINATION BY THE MAJORITY. EVERY OTHER EXPLANATION IS OUT-OF-BOUNDS.

III. WE CAN MAKE THE UNITED STATES A "HISPANIC QUEBEC" WITHOUT MUCH EFFORT. THE KEY IS TO CELEBRATE DIVERSITY RATHER THAN UNITY. AS BENJAMIN SCHWARZ SAID IN THE ATLANTIC MONTHLY RECENTLY: ...THE APPARENT SUCCESS OF OUR OWN MULTIETHNIC AND MULTICULTURAL EXPERIMENT MIGHT HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED NOT BY TOLERANCE BUT BY HEGEMONY. WITHOUT THE DOMINANCE THAT ONCE DICTATED ETHNOCENTRICALLY, AND WHAT IT MEANT TO BE AN AMERICAN, WE ARE LEFT WITH ONLY TOLERANCE AND PLURALISM TO HOLD US TOGETHER. I WOULD ENCOURAGE ALL IMMIGRANTS TO KEEP THEIR OWN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE. I WOULD REPLACE THE MELTING POT METAPHOR WITH A SALAD BOWL METAPHOR. IT IS IMPORTANT TO INSURE THAT WE HAVE VARIOUS CULTURAL SUB-GROUPS LIVING IN AMERICA REINFORCING THEIR DIFFERENCES RATHER THAN AMERICANS, EMPHASIZING THEIR SIMILARITIES.

IV. HAVING DONE ALL THIS, I WOULD MAKE OUR FASTEST GROWING DEMOGRAPHIC GROUP THE LEAST EDUCATED - I WOULD ADD A SECOND UNDERCLASS, UNASSIMILATED, UNDEREDUCATED, AND ANTAGONISTIC TO OUR POPULATION. I WOULD HAVE THIS SECOND UNDERCLASS HAVE A 50% DROP OUT RATE FROM SCHOOL.

V. I WOULD THEN GET THE BIG FOUNDATIONS AND BIG BUSINESS TO GIVE THESE EFFORTS LOTS OF MONEY. I WOULD INVEST IN ETHNIC IDENTITY, AND I WOULD ESTABLISH THE CULT OF VICTIMOLOGY. I WOULD GET ALL MINORITIES TO THINK THEIR LACK OF SUCCESS WAS ALL THE FAULT OF THE MAJORITY - I WOULD START A GRIEVANCE INDUSTRY BLAMING ALL MINORITY FAILURE ON THE MAJORITY POPULATION.

VI. I WOULD ESTABLISH DUAL CITIZENSHIP AND PROMOTE DIVIDED LOYALTIES. I WOULD "CELEBRATE DIVERSITY." "DIVERSITY" IS A WONDERFULLY SEDUCTIVE WORD. IT STRESSES DIFFERENCES RATHER THAN COMMONALITIES. DIVERSE PEOPLE WORLDWIDE ARE MOSTLY ENGAGED IN HATING EACH OTHER-THAT IS, WHEN THEY ARE NOT KILLING EACH OTHER. A DIVERSE," PEACEFUL, OR STABLE SOCIETY IS AGAINST MOST HISTORICAL PRECEDENT. PEOPLE UNDERVALUE THE UNITY IT TAKES TO KEEP A NATION TOGETHER, AND WE CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS MYOPIA. LOOK AT THE ANCIENT GREEKS. DORF'S WORLD HISTORY TELLS US: THE GREEKS BELIEVED THAT THEY BELONGED TO THE SAME RACE; THEY POSSESSED A COMMON LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE; AND THEY WORSHIPED THE SAME GODS. ALL GREECE TOOK PART IN THE OLYMPIC GAMES IN HONOR OF ZEUS AND ALL GREEKS VENERATED THE SHRINE OF APOLLO AT DELPHI. A COMMON ENEMY PERSIA THREATENED THEIR LIBERTY. YET, ALL OF THESE BONDS TOGETHER WERE NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO OVERCOME TWO FACTORS . . . (LOCAL PATRIOTISM AND GEOGRAPHICAL CONDITIONS THAT NURTURED POLITICAL DIVISIONS . . .) IF WE CAN PUT THE EMPHASIS ON THE "PLURIBUS," INSTEAD OF THE "UNUM," WE CAN BALKANIZE AMERICA AS SURELY AS KOSOVO.

VII. THEN I WOULD PLACE ALL THESE SUBJECTS OFF LIMITS - MAKE IT TABOO TO TALK ABOUT. I WOULD FIND A WORD SIMILAR TO "HERETIC" IN THE 16TH CENTURY - THAT STOPPED DISCUSSION AND PARALYZED THINKING. WORDS LIKE "RACIST", "XENOPHOBE" THAT HALTS ARGUMENT AND CONVERSATION.

HAVING MADE AMERICA A BILINGUAL-BICULTURAL COUNTRY, HAVING ESTABLISHED MULTICULTURALISM, HAVING THE LARGE FOUNDATIONS FUND THE DOCTRINE OF "VICTIMOLOGY", I WOULD NEXT MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO ENFORCE OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS. I WOULD DEVELOP A MANTRA - "THAT BECAUSE IMMIGRATION HAS BEEN GOOD FOR AMERICA, IT MUST ALWAYS BE GOOD." I WOULD MAKE EVERY INDIVIDUAL IMMIGRANT SYMPATRIC AND IGNORE THE CUMULATIVE IMPACT.

VIII. LASTLY, I WOULD CENSOR VICTOR DAVIS HANSON'S BOOK MEXIFORNIA — THIS BOOK IS DANGEROUS — IT EXPOSES MY PLAN TO DESTROY AMERICA. SO PLEASE, PLEASE — IF YOU FEEL THAT AMERICA DESERVES TO BE DESTROYED — PLEASE, PLEASE — DON'T BUY THIS BOOK! THIS GUY IS ON TO MY PLAN. "THE SMART WAY TO KEEP PEOPLE PASSIVE AND OBEDIENT IS TO STRICTLY LIMIT THE SPECTRUM OF ACCEPTABLE OPINION, BUT ALLOW VERY LIVELY DEBATE WITHIN THAT SPECTRUM." — NOAM CHOMSKY, AMERICAN LINGUIST AND US MEDIA AND FOREIGN POLICY CRITIC.
