I tend to wax poetic every now and again, and have noticed that I am not alone in this. There have been some very well writen lines in these threads, and so I thought perhaps they should have a place of there own. No Tiger, not dirty limericks, but for those times when the mood hits, a place to let loose the creative side of our personality, that often languishes, locked inside waiting to be free....
Give it a shot and we'll see what happens.

The movie ended over an hour ago, but I haven’t the heart to wake you. You have had such a difficult week, and sleep has not come easy. It is for moments like these that I wait. I have watched you sleeping long enough to memorize every line and curve of your face.

I was sitting on my usual park bench again today, rather aimlessly reading a magazine, when I became aware of a scent, floating on the breeze. I can not tell you the name of the fragrance, but I know it as yours. I heard a woman’s voice laughing beyond the bushes behind me, and knew it was you. Just then the sun broke through the clouds and right on me. I felt the warmth and knew it was you hugging me. A song is drifting across the park, it is our song.

I love this bench. It is our place. It is where we share the most wonderful moments of my days. On some days I can sit here and close my eyes and feel you sitting beside me. My eyes stay closed as I enjoy every second of our time together, because if I open them I will be alone once more, and I have felt that pain too often. With them closed all the world is perfect!
