I would have to say that I am happy with the two contestants that are left. I will be voting for Taylor just because he's different than any of the others. Katherine is a great singer, but, I don't know if I would choose her over Taylor. She's just too much like Kelly Clarkson. They need someone unique to win. But, even if Taylor doesn't win, I'm sure he'll have a music contract, just as I know Chris will. That's what's important anyway.

I don't usually follow American Idol but I did catch last nights episode. OMG I have never laughed so hard. I mean I know I can't sing, but hells bells some of those people were worse than horrible. That one red headed guy who sang unchained melody I nearly pissed my pants when he went outside and the guy asked him how it went, he said something and then said, thats all I have to say about that. All I could think of was Forrest Gump, but I think Forrest was smarter.

Jason Castro's brother Michael Castro will be tested, he stated that he only started singing 20 days prior to the audition. He seems a little to cocky for this though.

My favorites at this point are these:

Emily Wynne-Hughes from Los Angeles, Ca I think will go far, she has a great voice, she sand Heart-Barracuda in her audition, she did a great job with that song.

Stevie Wright from Phelan, Ca is another that will go far in the competition, she did Etta James - At Last and had excellent voice control.

Cody Sheldon of Detroit, Mi I think will be the David Archuletta of the competition, very good voice and has that same baby face quality he did. Also another benefit to him is that he is similar to Joe Jonas from the Jonas Brothers.

Lil Rounds of Memphis, Tn is another of my favorites this year, she sang Stevie Wonder - All I do, she will go far in the competition. Great vocals, awesome control and excellent range.

But what do I know about music, I'm a computer geek......lol

I still agree with the top four I chose for the most part, but, last night I was disappointed with Allison Iraheta's performance and I was really impressed with Kris Allen's, he sang Ain't no Sunshine and did an amazing job, if he keeps going at the pace he has been I would think he will make top 4 and Allison Iraheta won't, but it is hard to say, you never know.

I have a small music background, I was a choir singer when I was young, I don't sing anymore. I took up several instruments including, violin, clarinet, saxaphone, drums, guitar and bass. But I haven't played any of them in years except the drums. My big interest now is I want to learn to play the piano.

Other than that I was a DJ for several years in clubs which was fun, I love doing remixes and beat mixing. I have been able to use that skill for creating sound loops for web design.

All that said, my music talent is limited, I just appreciate good music and I listen to and appreciate all genre's of music.

I've watched every season of AI, and can't remember a performer separating himself from the rest of the group like Adam is. I'm not a, or wasn't a, fan; however it's hard not to acknowledge the genius he brings to each performance. It seems finally someone is understanding that it isn't just a "singing" show.

There are a lot of talented folks on this year's show, but I'll be shocked if Adam doesn't walk away with it. I'll also be shocked if the judges use the "save" on anyone until the last second to ensure Adam stays on the show.

And does anyone think that Scott would have even been on the show if he wasn't visually impaired? Now that Scott is finally gone, I'm focusing on Lil...go away!!!

I think that's half the reason I can't get into the show at all......That Flock of Seagulls coiffe he's sportin has GOT TO GO!!...I mean, he's a good lookin' guy, but he's short changin himself to wear what appears to be a jet black wig from the 80's party store.

We get the finals a day or two after you guys. Always interesting to see the differences and the similarities between our version of the show and yours. Main one is that your contestants get to choose their own songs, while here they have a mentor (one of the judges) that does that for them. Group auditions also take place. The show goes by a different name, but it is largely the same Cowell vehicle.

I will be bowled over if Adam does not win, which is fair dues. I think he is talented and unique, and has star quality (by today's standards). Can't say it's my cup of tea when he alters a song too much, and I don't rate his voice past pleasant, but I appreciate the skill that goes into it.

Danny Gokey has the kind of voice I would buy...provided he sticks to a certain genre. If he picks a good song and sings it with passion, he can produce an engaging, uplifting performance. And I like the depth that he carries. He has some charisma, too - perhaps not the sort required to be "relevant".

The rest have been too hit and miss to really make an impact for me. Any of them could go and I wouldn't really notice. I just can't picture them as recording artists, but maybe I'm expecting too much. AI appears to rely more on the self-development of singers, whereas, here, they try to turn them into stars via careful coaching...It is often more superficial, and dissatisfying, if anything!

I think Kris has a boat load of talent with writing and arranging songs. I would be shocked if he does not stay in the music industry as a writer etc. I like this years mix of personalities and ability, but I do think no one will ever fit the image of American Idol the way Carrie Underwood defines it. I would have loved to see Danny win...thought he was the best through out the whole competition. Kris has come on very strong at the end and was my second choice. Adam still has me stumped to what everyone sees. I have heard a few good songs, but most have been filled with screaming and off key singing. I have mentioned it before, but I think Kris has more talent in more areas then anyone else on the show this year. I started following him early on when it was mentioned how he worked with all the other contestants with arrangements..etc..made me see him as unselfish yet confident in himself.

Kris's CD will outsell Adam's as Kris will have more mainstream appeal and will be more radio freindly.

I think both of them are incredible and Adam won't be hurting for a contract. Actually, he's probably better off. The Idol contract is one year one million dollars. Adam can do far better independently. I just think Kris's appeal is more wide spread than Adam. Adam is different and those one hundred million teenage girls who dial in a bazillion times are going to relate more to Kris. Personally, I would buy both of their cd's and probably will have the opportunity.

He (and I) thought he had no chance because of how hard American Idol was pushing for Adam to win. But their pushing Adam so hard couldn't over come the combo platter of a large Southern contingent and the Gokey contingent pushing for Kris.

it is always assumed everyone is a heterosexual..so announcing you are would mean nothing....and yes I agree they both can sing but Adam is a far better entertainer and will more successful..While people "knew" Clay was I can only imagine the pressure he felt hiding it...Adam just wanted it public sooner and my guess is in a month no one will care either way..it will be behind him so he and his fans can focus on his talent not his sexuality..
