My computer moves very slowly in here, I know it's partly the site and partly my old dinosaur of a computer...I've tried removing some of my photos, deleted my old private messages, and the messages in my friends box...but now it just says the message has been deleted, I think it looks bad and rude...something I don't want to do...
:sc Is there anyway to completely remove the old messages to free up the space and without it looking like I've just deleted people's thoughts away?

Are you talking about in your visitor message area? If so ask one of the mods to clean it up for you...

Yes MCat, I thought if I cleaned up all the old messages and files and pictures that I would move quicker...it seem to help just a bit...but now the vistor messages look in bad taste on my part...
thank you for your suggestion

The cleaning and tidying up seems to have helped some...I guess I need to get better at deleting up my old PMs and visitor messages every few months or once it gets to be over 200. I'm such a pack-rat...:crs

Yes lots of traffic can slow the site down, and I've also learned not logging off slows down the site as well. One night I forgot to sign off...I just clicked the X instead of the Log Out toggle and I was still signed in when I opened M&F the next day. :yksGood thing I don't have anyone around who would be upset.....it could have caused problems.....:nu
