I live in a big city and they are only giving the Tax Assessed Value. As an example I looked at a new house last night that they assessed at $26,000 but the selling price of the house is $345,000 (BIG DIFFERENCE)...
If you want really good Satellite pictures of your area go to Google Earth, the pictures are from about 5 years ago but fairly detailed.

All they gave me was the Tax Assessed Value . I hope to God my property is worth alot more lol

We use zillow.com as a tool when putting together an individual's financial profile. However, be aware that the quote typically is 5-10% below the actual curent market value, since it is based on empirical data that is 6-12 months old.

My house actually increased about 100k in three years almost makes me want to sell it :D Thats the Boston area though prices are crazy here

wow they have no listing for my home in VT...and of course they have no listing for the gov housing i am in now on the Army base....
