They know who, what and how they want and are not afraid to go get it. I think you hit the nail on the head with your first paragraph, ogp. Intimidating? Hmmm...

Some of it could be internet courage...being able to let out that part of ourselves that wouldn't otherwise be seen. Allowing that here can also carry over into the "real world", which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
