What is the most idiotic thing you have done for love. For my wife, I played Santa Clause for her women's card club. I sat for 4 hours in a second floor bed room. Each of 16 women had to come during that time, sit on my lap and tell me what they wanted for Christmas. Sitting time was not limited. My wife and I never discussed what her friends wanted.

For sex.. the list is long.. but for love: When I was first dating my wife I went over to her apartment as she invited me for dinner, she made this GAWD-Awful pasta type salad stuff, I ate the entire bowl, and asked for another just to put her at ease that it was really something I liked.... her room-mate tried it and was like ... hell no .. Shawn don't eat that, I was like "pfffft what are ya talkin about this is the best ever"..... I think that's when I fooled her into believe in was not as shallow as everyone says... mwauuuhhh mwauahhhhh mwuaahhhhhh

I went hunting....
It was awful, I hate guns anyway. So, I probably should have said no but, his friend backed out and he was really looking forward to going.
We walked for what seemed like miles in the freaking cold to watch these birds fly away because "he wasn't close enough to get a good shot".

I feel awful for you.

The most idiotic thing?

I wrote a mushy song for a girl.
And to this day, 24 years later, I STILL KNOW IT INSIDE-OUT !!!

The most stupid thing I did for love?
I stayed in an abusive marrige.
I believed him everytime he said he was sorry, I believed him when he said he was sorry and it would never happen again.

After the marrige ended,
He apologized, said it wouldnt happen again, and begged for another chance.
said he went to anger management classes, and it would never happen again.

He sent me to the ER with 4 stab wounds.

After that, I decided no relationship is ever worth being stupid for.

That's easy - stayed married and loyal as a puppy dog to a woman who could have cared less did not in anyway return my loyalty.

I definitely haven't stabbed anyone.
I guess when I got caught kissing the neighbors wife, by her husband.
What was I thinking?
