How do I tell you all about me without saying anything at all?

Well, here goes nothing...God hates a coward right?

Small midwestern town punk rocker approaching middle age at warp speed. I still have my hair, but some of it is turning grey. I woke up from a 12 year marriage w/ a bad hangover.

My neighbor calls me "that guy." I call him "motherfucker."

I am a dog person. And a cat person. and a goldfish, de-scented skunk, regular scented skunk (so long as he keeps his stinky ass outside), ferret, potbelly pig, bison, horse, cow, llama, parrot, rat, iguana and every other critter on the Earth person.

Except snakes because I'm afraid of them. I think my phobia has it's roots from when I was little and my Gramma told me that if a snake got in the house he would crawl upstairs and wrap himself around my head while I was sleeping.

Or maybe I don't like snakes because they are sneaky and creepy and some of them can kill you.

I especially like dogs that kill snakes.

I have the attention deficit. Had it since I was a kid. I think of it as a blessing--10,000 channels rapidly switching off & on inside my head. It's like cable TV, only free.

I have successfully spread my seed. I am a proud parent. I love being a dad, enough so that I put up with an otherwise miserable domestic situation and try to cheerfully live with it.

Misc: I like tattoos, horror movies, the outdoors and hanging out with my friends and having a beer. Sam Adams is my favorite, but I am no beer snob. Cheap beer is far better than no beer at all.

Hello, Luna. To answer your question about cheating, that would depend on what your spouse would consider cheating. Would he feel as though you cheated on him? If so, then I would think of it as cheating.

So let's see. I am married and have four children. I have a Ph.D from a top University in the U.S. and am in academia. I also do consulting in my field. I have historically been shy, but am trying to kick the habit :)

I used to play alot of tennis, though I was never really all that great at it. I was a highly ranked chess player in my college years, and later took up bridge, which I am quite good at (did I mention modesty?).

I am very much into music, though I never learned any. I taught myself solphage (reading music) and can sing from a score, though not something I am completely unfamiliar with. I do quite a bit of singing, some on stage, some in the shower :-)

I am very romantic and have on numerous occassions surprised my wife with trips to various venues around the world.

Why am I doing this? I guess I want to try something I never have before and see where it takes me.

My husband and I have been married for 4 years and are extremely happy together. He has 2 kids and "we" have a granddaughter who is 3.

When we are together we enjoy spending quiet time together hanging out in front of the t.v. or working on little projects around the house. We just sold our motorcycle but before that we "used to" really have a lot of fun going on trips with our friends up into the mountains and stuff. We plan on getting another bike one day but we have too much going on right now between projects, home maintenance and we both work weird schedules so we don't get much time at home or at home together.

We are always together on the weekends though and we have a standing date night on Sunday evenings, if you want to call it a date, we don't go anywhere we hang out, listen to music, have a few drinks and PLAY. Hey everybody - I've been on here for a few days now and am excited for graduating from newbie status. I've been married for 11 years, with 3 young kids, and work a ton of hours on top of that. Hello. I finally got this site to let me on and now I am seeing I need a roadmap to figure it out. I guess I will just watch awhile and see what happens here.

Skimming thorough some old posts and looking at sidebar info, it looks like I waited much too long to decide to check out a site like this. It seems most here were getting bored in life at a much younger age. Maybe I am a late bloomer. I just hope I am not too late to get some fun out of this site and life. Don't let my outward age fool you, inside I am really quite young and I like to have fun.

I am female and have been married for 37 years to the same man I met at 15 when he was 18. At 60, he is ready to be old and to pretty much give up on life while I still want to be young.
