I don't think there's much resemblence. The panther doesn't wear glasses and never did like that cowboy hat.
Picked him up 'cause I heard they were good for hunting beaver. They're in no danger though. He's good at spottin' 'em and will even chase 'em when he feels like it, but won't go into the water after 'em.
