Mujibar's New Job

Did you hear how "Mujibar" got a job working for Verizon?

Mujibar was trying to get into the USA legally through Immigration.
The Officer said, "Mujibar, you have passed all the tests,
except there is one more test. Unless you pass it, you cannot
enter the United States of America."

Mujibar said, "I am ready."

The officer said, "Make a sentence using the words
"Yellow, Pink and Green."

Mujibar thought for a few minutes and said,
"Mister Officer, I am ready."

The Officer said, "Go ahead."

Mujibar said, "The telephone goes green, green, green,
and I pink it up, and say, 'Yellow, this is Mujibar."

Mujibar now lives in a neighborhood near you and works

at a Verizon help desk. I talked to him yesterday

I did have a few chuckles at the expense of people who don't have great english skills. It doesn't give me much encouragment to take my wife back to Oz though.

I guess it easy for me to make a joke about it only because I am in such a minority. Even in the complex where I live I have trouble communicating with most of my neighbors and we now call our local McDonalds "surprise in a bag". I am getting so very tired of struggling to understand a language I was taught from birth!
