Newbie Question to the Mods - re profile info (gender)

Hi. I noticed that the gender info contained in one`s profile (male/female/couple) is not displayed along with the other profile info (Age, Location, etc) when posting. Are there any plans to add this info? Or, should we select a handle and/or avatar which implicitly provides this info? Thanks.

it shows in your profile mostly.. but we will figure it out when you start flirting... I think... or you can just tell us... and the word will spread..
