To me Michigan is perfect...3 seasons usually, if we are lucky spring sneaks in between winter and summer. Fall is especially beautiful around the great lakes.

It would have to be down near the Durango/Silverthorne area. That hasn't really been spoiled yet by all of the out-of-state folks like Vail, Aspen, and some of those other places. I also like Grandby and the area up by the Arapahoe National Forest.

Know the area well -- I'm in the Springs, but spend a lot of time hunting and fishing down in the Durango area, up thru Alamosa, Horseshoe Mesa area.
You're right -- it definitely is pretty country !

I was born and raised here, and although I've lived in several other cities, I love it here. The only drawback is the air quality. It's horrible because of the humidity, and if you have asthma, which i do, it's a nightmare in the summer months. I'd love to live somewhere where the air is fresh and clear and where you don't hear smog alerts being announced on the radio almost daily.

I would actually love to move back to my hometown. I really miss my family and would love to have them all near me again.
I would live in Salem Mass. I love Halloween and the town is beautiful. If it were out of the country, I would choose Ireland.

The wife and I went to Costa Rica for christmas 2 years ago...Man what a beautiful place, the country is not wealthy so a dollar goes a long way, they do not have all the luxuries we have here which is why i think its so nice there, just kinda untarnished there...absolutely going back!!!

not that I really want to live there... I think I would like to live in MN with what is left of my family... but i also would love to live closer to some dear friends too...
maybe one day I will find someone special (not that I am looking, so don't get scared guys) and move to wherever he is..

Would have to agree about being close to family. We do miss them while on the road. It is definitely one of the down sides. Guess thats why we always seem to be traveling through the neighborhood a couple of times a year for the grandkids fix.

My favorite place on the planet is New Zealand (either island, by the water or the wineries), closely followed by Sydney, Australia (eastern suburbs, on the water).
Love each of New Zealand's unique features and climates, the people, the amazing wines and the life style there.
The beaches, the people, the Aussie wines and the "vibe" in Sydney are incredible and so relaxing.

Lived on Oahu for three years. Best view of the island was looking back as the plane took off :D
