Well, I think I did too, although I can't help but second guess myself. The World today is a very scary place to me ... and I am fearful of the things my children will have to face when raising my grandchildren.

Gone is the respect toward others that we had when I was a child. In a lot of cases, gone is the basic structure of the American family!

I hate to think that I am the type of individual that is afraid of change as I usually find myself to be one that anticipates and embraces it when it's time ... I just don't appreciate change at the expense of the children. :spbx: lol, just my personal opinion! ;)

Four of my five kids are already on their own (doing wonderfully, I'd like to add) but my constant hope is that I gave/taught them the wherewithal to parent as I did. To buck against what is now the "norm" and stick with old-fashioned, parenting with a capital 'P'.

Women are prohibited from being in my field. Those who are in the military are basically off limits. Officers can not fraternize with enlisted. And it is against regulations for me to enjoy the company of another woman who is not my wife. Darn Army has rules against everything.

You know, I was at one point this weekend too, peaches. But I learned alot in a short time. Just take everything a day at a time...don't press...feel confident that things happen for a reason. Enjoy the moment today....no one can ever take away your memories...especially the good ones!

Thank you confused. Someone has showed me patience and I try it every day. But some days get the better of me. And truthfully I'm lonely. That simple...but you are right I do soar when we chat and for sometime after that. But there are days we can't soar together and it's a lonely place out here, but i am managing.
