Hell yes.
I do not think it is that big of a deal for men, we go to the bathroom in a big open room with bunches of other men.

I normally leave the door open. I feel if anybody wants to see me going to the bathroom go for it. It isn't like they can see anything real good going on. I normally close the door when I'm taking a shower it muffles my crappy singing voice. I can nail Barry White down cause I have a deep voice, but if it is anything with a high pitch voice I can shatter the glass

Actually no as we live in a bungalow and the bathroom opens into a small square to the back door that opens into the patio back garden

If I'm home alone it's open because the dogs will bark and whine to be let in. If she's around I will close the door. She leaves it open......

Using the bathroom to me, is something I don't want to share with anyone nor do I want them to share it with me.

I just think that it's something that shouldn't be shared...private time. I'm not ashamed or anything...just don't care to see or be seen while in there!
Just my thoughts!

I am with Wiggles on this one, CLOSE the DOOR! Occasionally if I am home alone I may not close it, and now with this new kitten, he has to be where you are so this cute little paw comes under the door and cries if you close him out, Especially in the master bathroom!

It wouldn't be so bad if we had a single family house, but we are on the ninth floor in a condo and the assholes below us are always complaining to security if we are making too much noise, so I'm always nervous that I'll get a call about the dogs barking while I'm on the can!

I would normally leave the door open. However, nowadays my teenage son usually has his girlfriend around, and his bedroom door and the bathroom door are opposite.

We always close the door, to teach our kids about boundaries (We also knock on their doors before going into their rooms) and because we try to treat each other like we did when we were first getting together. When we first started going out, I wouldn't think of "going #2" in front of my then girlfriend, now wife...why would I treat her more disrespectfully now? And vice versa?
