You are addicted to the internet when......
You get a tatoo that says "This body best viewed with Netscape 2.01or higher."
All of your friends have an @ in their names.
And even your night dreams are in HTML
You turn on your intercom when leaving the room so you can hear if new e-mail arrives.
When looking at a pageful of someone else's links, you notice all of them are already highlighted in purple.
Your dog has its own home page.
You can't call your mother...she doesn't have a modem.
You check your mail. It says "no new messages." So you check it again.
Your phone bill makes your dad go crazy.
You code your homework in HTML and give your instructor the URL.
You wake up at 3 a.m. to go to the bathroom and stop and check your e-mail on the way back to bed.
Your mom makes a new rule: "The computer cannot come to bed."
You never have to deal with busy signals when calling your ISP...because you never log off.
You turn off your modem and get this awful empty feeling, like you just pulled the plug on a loved one.
Your heart races faster and beats irregularly each time you see a new WWW site address in print or on TV, even though you've never had heart problems before. Your bookmark takes 15 minutes to scroll from top to bottom.
Your mother says communication is important in a family...so you ask her for another computer and install a second phone line so the two of you can chat.
As you forget to do your homework, your first instinct is to search for the "back" button.All your daydreaming is preoccupied with getting a faster \par connection to the net: 28.8...ISDN...cable modem..etc
You step out of your room and realize that you have guests at home and you don't have a clue when they came in. You just love to waste your precious time in the laugh section of indianchild.com !

Hi Dave,
Sorry I haven't had much time to talk lately. That work thing keeps interupting me. I'll just get on and I have to leave again. I'll try and do better.

Beautifully stated
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will.
You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time.
You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.
You'll fight with your best friend.
You'll blame a new love for things an old one did.
You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love.
So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
So pass this along to all your friends (and me if you want). Don't worry if you don't, nothing bad is going to happen to you.
Don't be afraid that your life will end,
be afraid that it will never begin.

Many people will walk in and out of your life. But only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.
To handle yourself, use your head;
To handle others, use your heart.
Anger is only one letter short of danger.
If someone betrays you once, it is his fault;
If he betrays you twice, it is your fault.
Great minds discuss ideas;
Average minds discuss events;
Small minds d iscuss people.
He, who loses money, loses much;
He, who loses a friend, loses much more;
He, who loses faith, loses all.
Beautiful young people are a ccidents of nature.
Learn from the mistakes of others. You can't live long enough to make them all yourself.
Friends, you and me......
You brought another friend ....
And then there were 3 .
We started our group ..
Our circle of friends....
There is no beginning or end .. ..
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is mystery.
Today is a gift.
