Yep no problem, too dangerous walking round them, traffic on the road, and silly drivers, though I suppose some people are wary on days like this, so silly really, but each to their own.

Am I superstitious? Well Yes to some extent, but it mostly involves my job.
Working during a full moon is always fun :whee: . If you don't think the full moon has any effect on people you are dead wrong lol.
At work there are 3 words we never say.
The Q word.....The B word.....And the S word.
"Quiet, Bored, and Slow"
If you do, it is a proven fact all hell will break loose. :nu

Me too! But I have a lot of fun on Halloween with her. I dress up like a witch and then try to have her in my arms when I answer the door. My poor kitty is sooo discriminated against by the kids around here!
Well, I told my daughter that cat of hers is evil! Somewhere a witch is missing her cat and it's living right in our house!:lmao

Oh our cat is very active also! Scratching things, begging for food, dragging dead things up to the porch! Sweet when she's tired!

We got ours from a shelter. She spent over 6 months in a cage, was already de-clawed and isn't allowed outside.... ever! She's kind of afraid of the outdoors anyway, so she doesn't ask to go there. About all she's ever killed is an occasional spider (she always eats what she kills). She does beg, but only on chicken or salmon nights.
I wish ours was declawed. But my daughter won't have it. She says it can't protect itself outside without claws. She does have a point. We had another very sweet male cat also but the coyotes got him. The wife got him out of a tree in a swamp 7 years ago. He was a good cat. Guess the claws will have to stay in the other cat we have now.

I can categorically prove that Friday the 13th is a horrible day !!!
I was drafted into the Army and was scheduled to report on Friday the 13th. (Course, I immediately ran down and joined the Air Force -- no fool am I!)
And - if that ain't enough proof, here's the clincher........
I was married on Friday the 13th.

I don't believe in superstitions, I feel your days are only what you make them. On the other hand(I have washed it) My ex wife believes--she was born on Fri 13th and she always has the worst day then--but I think she makes her self have them. My day today was perfect.

I'm not really superstitious. I believe in being careful, but I'm not going to avoid a ladder if it's in my path. And black cats are just pretty. We had one once. Until it ran away.
My question is this... Which shoulder are you supposed to throw salt over? I've never tried it, therefore I don't know. I was just wondering if anybody here might now....

You may not believe this, but I spilled the salt Friday the 13 in a restaurant. My Dad would always toss salt over his left shoulder when he was alive if he spilled it. I instinctively picked-up a pinch of salt with my right thumb and forefinger and tossed it over the left shoulder. Then I thought, how silly! Yet, somehow I felt better. I was wondering if anyone was watching me.:D :whee:

The fear of Friday the 13th is called paraskavedekatriaphobia or paraskevidekatriaphobia, a specialized form of triskaidekaphobia, a phobia (fear) of the number thirteen.
