Sorry Cotties. Did'nt have much effect on me. The younger one was just fun. The older one had more emotion attached
I was involved with a man in his mid 40's when I was in my late teens. We didn't date, just slept together every so often. I learned alot from him, especially how to accept pleasure. Up until then I hadn't had much opportunity to try that. Let's face it, teenage boys aren't really too concerned with how the lady is doing. I always thought it was my job to try and keep up with my partner, and if I couldn't, I'd just fake it (I faked alot back then). He taught me that lovemaking is about givng and recieving. Funny, we were just friends through my boss at the time, and neither one of us were inclined to make a commitment to each other, but we had a very special time when we were together, and respected each other a great deal. I guess we'd be considered friends with benefits now, or fuck buddies, since that's all we really did, but that doesn't seem to reflect the relationship we had. It was much more than that.

Hmmmm.......I was about 22, and she was 18 , (a one time thing) one of the what a heck was I thinking times :sc , I regret that one ....I was chasing and she was horny and engaged! :(

Maybe older men do feel more fortunate when they score a younger woman, and they make more of an effort because of that. Or maybe that kind of consideration and generosity comes with maturity. Or maybe it's a generational thing - that men of a certain era were raised that you treat a woman like a lady.
I've always been attracted to older men. Is that because of some father complex? Or because of that older man who showed me the ropes? Or because I've always been more mature for my age? Who knows? All I know is I have very little patience for young men. I don't want to generalize, but they do seem more self-involved than men in their late 30's, 40's and up.
I haven't had much luck with 23 year olds who were considerate in the bedroom or out, but then maybe I should have looked you up. Sounds like you would have changed my mind.

Its been only 3 years in each direction for me. My wife and ex g/f are 3 yrs older and the ex befor that was 3 yrs younger. I do agree that its all about how you feel with one another. Well if you look at it two different ways, when I was 22 I went out with a lady who was 36 for a while.
When I was 37 I was living with a lady who was 20. So I guess 17 years is the major gap, but the 14 year gap felt much larger than the 17 one. It might have to do with females /males and how they mature at different times. Or maybe I just am immature to this day.:cry:

Hubby is older than I am and I don't notice that it's made him a better lover. I think a lot of it is in how attentive the man chooses to be. The BF is very attentive and much more gentle going about some things than the hubby is. He takes him time with me whereas the hubby is much more hurried. BF is same age that I am. I think once we get to a certain point in life, as northernvam pointed out, that age doesn't make a difference. It's all in the experiences we've had, no matter what the age.

Actually, I think that as activities, sex and marriage really have very little to do with each other in terms of every day life. Marriage is sort of like running a small buisness, and has all the attending issues, such as income, expenses, keeping the customers happy (children, in-laws, friends), keeping the employees happy, and making work "fun for all".
Sex on the other hand is something that is more of an "in the moment" type of experience. And as was said in other threads here ... over time, unless you really work hard at it to keep it fresh, then sex during marriage becomes dull, routine, or non-existent.

Hubby is older than I am and I don't notice that it's made him a better lover. I think a lot of it is in how attentive the man chooses to be. The BF is very attentive and much more gentle going about some things than the hubby is. He takes him time with me whereas the hubby is much more hurried. BF is same age that I am. Sorry Suz, that shouldn't have happened.
