Having just moved (and got rid of a lot of our furniture beforehand - less to carry halfway across the country) I don't have a nightstand. But when I get one, the top drawer will hold my book, my vibrator, some lube, and my journal that I write my poetry in.

Do I feel I need it no, but on the other hand Im prepaird. Lets say some dope feen walks into my house and thinks its his house, I have the right to shoot and kill any tresspasser in the State of Missouri, weather there in the wrong home or if there steeling or trying to do someone bodly harm. in the USA we dont mess around we meen bissness,I dont carry a gun with me unless I intend to use it Missouri is one of the few states that you can carry a gun 24 hours 7 days a week with in the law and dont need a lissons to do so. Where I live the Drug Meth is used and made I just feel safer knowing I have my gun where I can reach it.

I think you would find that in rural locations like mine most people do have one handy. I think most intruders know that as well, our crime rate is next to none (I know, I know, than why do I need one?).

All the naughty stuff is in the small safe under the night stand. It's rather empty now as I cleaned it out the other day. A big box full of a little bit of everything. Old movies, vibrators, batteries, books, magazines, lubs and lotions.
