If you do, you are going to find it harder to get very soon. The United States just passed a new law that makes it almost impossible for regular people to have adult websites. The govt now requires that every website owner have copies of all the models identification and model releases.. Usually the place webmasters buy the pictures of videos from would have that info but now the govt wants everyone that makes adult sites to have that info availible at any time they come knocking on the door looking for it.. This is going to put many many webmasters out of business because these records are almost impossible to get. For that reason we will not be able to post or show any sexually explicit pictures. That means no hard dick pics and no sexual intercouse pictures. Nothing explicit, Just general nudity is ok. This really sucks but I don't want to end up being someones bitch in prison either :(

In easier terms, say that your wife or girlfriend wanted to have a website where pictures and movies showed her touching herself or having fun with a dildo. She would be required to put her name, address and phone number on the site so the govt could come knocking anytime they feel like it to check her ID to make sure she was over 18. Well how many women are willing to put their address on a website that has pictures and videos of them having sex? Not many I would guess.:(

Well the govt couldn't make internet porn a crime so they did the next best thing and came up with new record keeping laws that make it impossible for regular people to have fun.

hmmmm. there was a ruling just this week about internet access, but I have not heard about any specific porn related laws being passed by congress. this may be a tempest in a teapot. even if they passed a law, they would have to make it from this date going forward, which would impact any new site after the date. it would be impossible to "grandfather" this law back to the first days of the web.
