Mine is The Christmas Song
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire
Jack frost nipping at your nose....

Silver Bells

Silent Night
Since I was a little girl I have always liked this one...
sung by Tennessee Ernie Ford
My Grandma used to play all the old albums when we spent the night
The Star Carol
by Wihla Hutson & Alfred S. Burt 1954
Long years ago on a deep winter night,
High in the heav'ns a star shone bright,
While in a manger a wee baby lay,
Sweetly asleep on a bed of hay.
Jesus the Lord was that baby so small,
Laid down to sleep in a humble stall;
Then came the star and it stood overhead,
shedding its light 'round His little bed.
Dear baby Jesus, how tiny Thou art,
I'll make a place for Thee in my heart,
And when the stars in the heavens I see,
Ever and always I think of Thee.

White Christmas
really hunny?!?! i would think rudolphs red nose would turn you on almost as much as you turn me on
I love every single one of them! NOt the contemporary crap by boy bands and such, but all the traditional ones. Carols are my favourite part of Christmas!I especially love Joy to the World, O Holy Night, and White Christmas. One of my favourites to sing at parties is Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree! It always gets people dancing! LOL!

Little Drummer boy!!
Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
Oh! You better watch out,
you better not cry,
you better not pout,
I'm telling you why:
Santa Claus is coming to town!
He's making a list,
He's checking it twice,
gonna find out who's naughty or nice.
Santa Claus is coming to town!
He sees you when you're sleeping,
he knows when you're awake.
He knows when you've been bad or good,
so be good for goodness sake!
So...You better watch out, You better not cry
You better not pout, I'm Telling you why.
Santa Claus is coming to town.
Little tin horns, little toy drums.
Rudy-toot-toot and rummy tum tums.
Santa Claus is coming to town.

Currently, my favourite is "Baby, It's Cold Outside" (Dean Martin, Louis Armstrong, etc...doesn't matter who sings it, I just like the duet).
On another note, my favourite used to be Silent Night (or Stille Nacht) which was my father's favourite as well, but since he died a couple of years ago, it just makes me feel melancholy. Though, in my mind it's still the best Christmas song even if I have a hard time with it.

It's not Christmas time until you hear Cheech and Chong's "Santa and his old Lady". Now that's Christmas.
A song I like is John Lennon's "And so this is Christmas", that's a good one.

For orchestra music, the Transsiberian Orchestra has Carol of the Bells, which is cool and Mannheim Steamroller has Sleigh Ride, another excellent song.

Anything Mannheim Steamrollers does is awesome. Their sound is so amazing. We used to have a CD of their Christmas music, but all our CD's were stolen the first part of this year - all our Christmas music included. I have no Christmas CD's to play right now and it's driving me crazy. I had some good ones. Bing Crosby, Barbra Streisand, Mannheim, and some others.... but now I have a good excuse to buy some more!!! LOL

I have the accompaniment track for "Breath of Heaven". It is a beautiful song. I sing it at church at Christmas. Such a pretty song...

Another of my favorites is We Three Kings. The minor chords in it are so great. You don't hear them in a lot of Christmas music...

O Holy Night. The creshendo, "Fall on your knees, hear the angels voices", when sung right, it can literally choke me up.
And for funny holiday tunes: I love the Julie Newmar version of "Santa Baby".

Hard Candy Christmas
By Dolly Parton
Hey, maybe I'll dye my hair
Maybe I'll move somewhere
Maybe I'll get a car
Maybe I'll drive so far
They'll all lose track
Me, I'll bounce right back
Maybe I'll sleep real late
Maybe I'll lose some weight
Maybe I'll clear my junk
Maybe I'll just get drunk on apple wine
Me, I'll be just
Fine and Dandy
Lord it's like a hard candy Christmas
I'm barely getting through tomorrow
But still I won't let
Sorrow bring me way down
I'll be fine and dandy
Lord it's like a hard candy Christmas
I'm barely getting through tomorrow
But still I won't let
Sorrow get me way down
Hey, maybe I'll learn to sew
Maybe I'll just lie low
Maybe I'll hit the bars
Maybe I'll count the stars until dawn
Me, I will go on
Maybe I'll settle down
Maybe I'll just leave town
Maybe I'll have some fun
Maybe I'll meet someone
And make him mine
Me, I'll be just
Fine and dandy
Lord it's like a hard candy Christmas
I'm barely getting through tomorrow
But still I won't let
Sorrow bring me way down
I'll be fine and dandy
Lord it's like a hard candy Christmas
I'm barely getting through tomorrow
But still I won't let
Sorrow bring me way down
I'll be fine and dandy
Lord it's like a hard candy Christmas
I'm barely getting through tomorrow
But still I won't let
Sorrow bring me way down
'Cause I'll be fine
(I'll be fine)
Oh, I'll be fine
