Hi and nice to meet you Spokane...

I think the time of year might have something to do with everything being slow.

Summertime kids are out of school, time for camping, the beach etc.
Fall, kids are back in school, no time for anything :(
Winter, holidays sneak up on us....really no time for anything.
Spring, dang spring break - everyone's off to Myrtle Beach.

I know I've been extremely busy this fall, no kids at home....just life I guess.

Stick around, everyone shows up sooner or later...post and we'll reply when something tickles our fancy ;)

this is the only forum I belong to...unless you want to count the one for the Red Sox...I just go there and post once in a while never talk with anyone...matter a fact just finally posted there for the 1st time since the season ended...found out our pitcher that was found out to have cancer in September is cancer free already and looking to be at spring training!!!! Lucky shit!!!!

I belong to alot of sites I guess but participate in very few, so many sites do not seem welcoming to anyone other that the core group who can be online all the time. So far this site appears more welcoming and fun while not requiring everyone to be an "insider" per se.

Didn't know much about chat rooms and nothing about sites and joining. Didn't like chat rooms because they were normally too congested. Then, I stumbled on this one and joined. Hmm...sex & dirty stuff boards = probably just this one and another.

Tech boards (for work stuff) = too many to count

Personal hobbies = 3 or 4

So, for me, it's probably in the range of 15 - 20.

The key is to have an email address/login/password for forums only. That way, if you're ever unsure if you've registered for a specific board, just enter your old standby login and you'll know for sure (I've surprised myself sometimes).

We belong to several sites (guess that means having a password). We try to log to this site as much as possible. Have had some great times here, and met some really fun people. Other sites range from log-on sites for the grandkids to "other" chat sites for us.

I belong to three including this one. One of them is a parentling website, and the other is the official Wiggles website (it's for my son! No, really!!) But the other two are a once in a while thing to check for new info or ask a parenting question. I don't even think of myself as a member even though I'm registered and such. This site is more than a membership for me. It's my favourite neighbourhood coffee shop that all my friends frequent as well. It doesn't matter when I drop in, there's always a friendly face to greet me, a shoulder to cry, or a good joke to laugh along with. I love this place.
