It's legal here and few women ever take advantage of it. We never see them on the streets, not even in their back yards, mosltly on the beaches, and still they are mostly pretty discreet. Well as Bobby said, the beaches in Europe are top optional. I certainly noticed the ladies with the nicely shaped firm boobs. But I have to say a majority of the women who were topless would look better with something on. There's a reason why we wear clothes, and it's not just to stay warm. Most of us really do look better in clothes. It gives a person the ability to change their appearance on a daily basis and frankly I think it's more sexy if something is left to the imagination.

I've been at a few beaches in other countries where its topless and I mean everyone's topless no matter what age. So the comment about some men shouldn't go topless goes for some of the women sunbathing. After a while I got used to it and it wasn't a distraction. I was smiled at, addressed by a number of woman and omg where do my eyes go. I concentrated on the bridges of their noses, lol but after the initial shock of bare boobies everywhere, which I'm not sure I got used to but I didn't find my eyes wandering down to their bare breasts.

It is now illegal in Scotland for a woman to be told she cannot breast feed her child in public. There is mountains of research to prove that breast feeding is the best way for a child to be fed. There are huge health benefits not only for the child but the mother also. And yes women have been provided with the right to have children and breast milk just as evolution intended.

Don't believe women are breastfeeding their children to prove a point to society though and to do 'whatever they like'. They are doing it because it is natural, they love their children and they believe it is the best thing for their child.

Have to agree. Women earned the right to breast feed their babies where ever the need be when God made their breasts feeding tubes. If people think its discusting then they dont have to look. I recall once at a 3 mo checkup.. their was a man in the dr office with his pg wife. my son started crying.. the man kept looking and shakeing his head as if saying 'make that kid shut up..' so i began to breast feed him. with a cloth diaper over.. the man actually had the nerve to say ' thats discusting'.. i said listen this is a pedetrician's office. my baby is here for his check up. his crying seemed to be bothering you so i was trying to feed him and maybe get him to sleep.. if you dont like it you can leave..i remember the wife didnt like it and a fight almost broke out then but the nurse came out and told them they would have to calm down or leave and they left.
It was all so uncalled for and stupid. I had more of a right to be their then he did. and every right to be doing what i was doing.

Now the difference is...I was always told to get the hell out of here when my sister began to breast feed. It was like every female member of my family just thought it was wrong to expose this to men...... But I am now aware that in Britain, Canada and Africa this doesn't happen so much.

It is very unlikely that a mother would take her very small baby to a 5 star resturant!! That is normally when you want to be just with adults or older children who can sit still!! Great beach by the way. I visit every time I'm down that way. Ever been to Playalinda up near the Cape? As a long time weekend nudist I see no problem with going topless or bottomless in an appropriate setting. I do believe it should be restricted to certain areas of beaches or nudist resorts. In Europe there are topless women everywhere, ok I do mean on the beach. After say possibly five minutes of self-consciousness, going topless on a beach is a liberating experience. Aside from eliminating often ridiculous tan-lines, feeling the elements against my boobs is a pleasurable and sensual sensation.... my children are completely oblivious to the nudity, having been bought up in an environment where we do not shirk and hide our bodies, however, we also don't blatantly prance around stark bollock naked at every opportunity. There is, as always a fine line....
