KX125 "13-16"
KX250 "16-21"
CR500 "21-23"
Then I mowed to this dreaded Concrete jungle and wanted to get back into it this ol time!
My friend owns a shop here too, Now that I have a trailer and a truck I might get back into it, nothing like riding a dirtbike. Streetbikes are cool but not the same.
I'm in!

I used to go to races every weekend when I was a teenager and young adult. I can still recall the smell of the fuel at the drop of a hat.

By far a really cool hobby, can get pretty expensive at times but it's really cool.
I love the sound and brutal power the best.

I love motocross, I have a Honda 2004 CRF250R. I was racing at the local level until the tail end of the 2005 season, when I blew out my knee. We will see what happens in the fall.
I would agree with DaFrEnChGuY, it gets expensive. My ACL replacement was somewhere around 15k when all was said and done...but you know what they say, "If it has wheels or a skirt you probably can't afford it."

My husband has raced motocross since he was a kid. It doesn't thrill me--just too risky and he's been injured too many times. Actually I watched him race for the first time ever this past May. I could never bear to watch him before that, but I knew it meant a lot to him for me to go to that race (since it was on his birthday). Our oldest son got hurt quite badly in an accident last summer, and was in the hospital for several days. Quite scary. That really made me wary of bikes.
I'll stick with my safe, fulfilling passion.......piano.

LOL
So very true! lol
That's really crappy for your knee, knock on wood I didnt have to much problems with knee's, I did break pretty much everything else lol, to be honest with Skateboarding, skiing, snowboarding, water skiing, Dirt Biking, Mountain Biking and Hockey it's amazing I can still walk straight lol
In the end it's all worth it
I just got a call from a friend who wanted to sell me his 02 YZ and all his gear I hung up on him lol

Actually, Amaretto, aff needs to alert you that your affinity for the ivory keys can account for accidents!

Touchée !!
You know, every sport or hobby as it's risk, sure racing is putting it out there a bit further but in the end it's really cool and fun! I think if your careful for the most part you'll be fine
It's when you think your better then your machine that you usually end up on a stetcher. Well at least that's what happend to me.
Safety first!....actually I say practise first then try stuff lol

I used to race moto-x, hare scrambles and enduros. It was a lot of fun but I did manage to break six ribs a shoulder and collapsed a lung one time and on another
Occasion I broke three ribs. I only ride road motorcycles now but I try to hit the drag strip and local road race course. I refuse to grow up.
