Zero preference, though, I've never had a lady 2 or 3 years younger than me. I guess that means that, subconsciously, I prefer older women. For me, it's never the age, just how they act and how beautiful they are in my eyes.

I used to think that age didn't matter much...but I have been proved wrong. I've never really dated men younger than I am, for they seemed a bit immature (think frat boy mentality). I had never dated much older men either...not sure why other than the fact that I got married young and older, at that time, meant 30's. Now that I am in my 30's I find that I appreciate older men more. I find that they know how to treat and appreciate women more. I could go anywhere from 5 or 6 years younger (Jon Bon Jovi where are you?) to 7 or 8 years older! (I probably wouldn't go younger than 45 or older than 60.) I don't think age itself is as important as the two people involved.

I put very little stock in age. On the younger side, it is a level of maturity I am looking for. If a 18-24 year old has that level I am fine with it... However if a 34 year old does not then I am not interested.

On the plus side, Again age is not so important. There is an upper limit however it really depends on personality and how well she has taken care of herself. So age is hard to say...

in general, I do not want a child or a granny. Anything in between is all about personality.

People say age doesn't matter. perhaps it does, perhaps it does not. But i like to be able to have a sensible conversation with a partner , real or virtual. so there is a need to be on the same wavelength and the same generation. Do you agree? Unless you only want physical with no brain contact.

I agree that the main this is being on the same wavelength so you can have sensible, intelligent conversation. I think your partner should be physically attractive to you also so that the physical part will be there but the emotional and mental aspects are needed to complete the puzzle.

I used to have a preference of a man close to my age...within 5 years or so. I do admit to sensing a sexual maturity in older men that peaked my curiosity from time to time. The older men I have met seemed to be a bit more sensual with their desires.

I am now with a man 10 yrs my senior. I have only thought about the age difference a time or two, mainly based on the fact that my "nutty" side can be a bit juvenile from time to time, although I like it this way as well. But, it has also opened my eyes to what older men have to offer. I know that my husband (ex) is 3 years older and can still have the selfish tendencies of a teenage boy. The older man could not be farther from this. They are like night and day with their behavior and their respect.....which is why I am no longer with the ex, and now with a man who similarly share my dreams, hopes, ambitions for the future...our future. I never realized that I could be a part of such a dynamic team until I met OIC.

to me calender age makes little difference....its more how old or young a person is personality wise.....have known people in their 30's act 75.and visa versa

We tend to pick or friends and lovers by their character , character is built by experiences and maturity. So if your older then your natural instinct is to find people with the same outlook which would mean that they had enough experiences to match yours which usually means older as well. I have some great fanatasies about younger women but when the fun is over and reality hits what would we talk about??
