Email Notifications of Posts

I have been here about a week and I am having a blast. I wasa wondering if someone could please, please tell me how to turn off the email notification to the posts that I subscribe to. I can't go through them quick enough. Help I am drownding. Thank you;)

Under "Messaging and Notification"

"Default Thread Subscription Mode"

Select "No Email Notification" from the combo box, and then save your selection.

You may also need to go into each thread that you have already automatically subscribed to, and click 'thread tools' on the top of the page and unsubscribe!
