Alright here we go. Your at a bar with a very desireable person of the opposite sex. You've had a few drinks and your feeling really good. So they start telling you about how they want to have an affair but they want to set up some groundrules first. Alright let's hear em'. (WARNING: For entertainment only - Don't try this at home!)

One nights stands...There are no rules...but for a long relationship... I think that rules and boundaries need to be established...Each individual needs to know where her or she stands..Limits the confusion...If both people don't agree to the rules than they can walk away....Jealousy typically is the number reason a relationship decays...

You should live at least 50 miles away from each other...instead of a few houses away from each other. Doesn't work out so well to live close by!

I think that we all tend to feel insecure at one time or another in our life. There are very few self-actualized individuals on earth... I am not certain that you can be self actualized and be involved in an affair. That would pose a contradiction?

Isn't 50 miles a bit arbitrary? What makes 50 work, but not 25? or even 10?
It probably doesn't work well if you live close by if you don't have much self control. Then you probably will get caught.

If I had to make a rule though My rule would be: make sure they were married also.
Would hate to have Fatal Attraction take place, another married person is safer...:whee:

Now, wouldn't that be interesting advice for a single young man. Rather than waste your time trying to have sex with women your age, go for a woman of position, who can support you in the lifestyle that you'd like to be accustomed to .....

I guess it depends on what you want to get out of the affair....and if you want to keep it as a side item....
If it's just sex...then no personal information other than a way of contact need be shared...like calling a hooker or something....only cheaper...
If it turns into more..then there needs to be a discussion of exactly how far this will go...and how intertwined you both want to be with each other's lives....
Of course sometimes things don't go the way you think and a casual relationship can become much more than either of you expected....emotions are unpredictable...and life never is

What I mean is that once you have invested your emotions into an affair, there are restrictions and limitations. You are opening yourself up for a whole lot of pain when your mind makes promises that your heart doesn't want to keep. Walking away when you can't follow "the rules" becomes very difficult.

Agree with this; I've wanted an affair for some time now, but not sure I'll ever act on it, not wanting to mess up family life. I'd be more tempted by someone I knew than a stranger whose agenda might be unknown

I found married ppl to work much better....there is no wanting something you cannot give such as an abundance of time. There is also no mind games because you both want the same thing...happiness, fulfillment, excitement...etc...and there are no temptations such as idle threats of blackmail. Hey...don't put that past anybody if you have a disagreement of sorts...my thoughts ;)

having an affair with married people IS much better. I've had two affairs. One with a neighborhood wife. When they live close, just make out to the spouse that he/she isn't your most favorite person/neighbor (but don't go overboard) but you will be nice because they are neighbors etc. I found myself being told not to be rude and since her hubby travels alot, I should help out on my days off. hmmm. My other affair was with a couple. It started out as a buddies wife wanted a threesome and he asked me if I'd help out. It was great and went on for sometime and then the wife asked ME (seperate of hubby) if I'd fool around with her and another female co-worker of hers. That was awesome too. but the wife didn't like the mff thing as much as the mfm fun. We never told the hubby about the mff affair but have had a few more flings of our own, but has recently stopped and we are still great buddies. They had their fun, tried it, and got it out of their system. Nobody hurt, nobody else knows.

Mightyland is a wonderful place, full of thrill rides, fun rides, short and long rides...some that will get you real wet and some that require you to hold on for dear life...whatever and wherever your at, it is definitely worth the price of admission, yessirree bob! There are several rides to be ridden.......slow ones, fast ones, stop your heart ones.....all depends on the mood yo are in when you arrive. But, satisfaction is always guaranteed!:D

I enjoy the whole park, from top to bottom! It is always nice to be shown those places of hidden wonderment that make a day at the park a truly great experience so whenever you have the time, I would love to plan our excursion.

Whether I am seeing someone on the side or not, I always come home at around the same time every day. If nothing is going on, I'll stay later at work or stay longer at the gym so that it is not out of the ordinary for me to come home late certain days.
