i would guess he beat a retreat
when he discovered his meat
was about to go under the knife
he thought he would be okay
and survive another day
until he gave the choice to his wife

He is just being anti-social.

I try to get on but now I have school, and work so my time is getting restraint now, so I will probably check it a few times a week and see whats going on.

I'm back from having a horrible couple of months... My father has been put on hospice care in Georgia and I can't come visit him because of financial reasons and they say the next infection he has could kill him... So we're trying to get a trip planned for his funeral... My sis is pissed at me because of some money my dad gave me... He never could trust her so he said I could have it... So screw her for being ticked... Not my fault... She shouldn't lie so damn much... Ah let's see what else... Oh my grandmother went into congestive heart failure and refused medical attention... She's doing better now... um... Xmas is kinda slim this year as we're trying to save for car rental and such for the trip... I'm just hoping we don't have to have 2 funerals... That would make xmas so much harder than financially... Anyone have a 3T black blazer (sportcoat) for a funeral??? I need one for my son... I've been searching everywhere... Can't find one for less than 30 freaking bucks... JUST the jacket... omg I'd hate to see the price of a suit... Anyway I'm back now after donating stuff to the needy and selling off a few items to finance my daughters big wish for xmas (a psp) and now I just took two valium and am ready to crash LOL... Doesn't get any more hectic than this for me right now... Atleast it better not...

Hey its nice to see you back, but not under these sad circumstances, like the others I really hope it gets better, life is a !!!!! but Im sure in my heart it will get a little easier, I know its easy for me to say this, but hang on in there and normally I dont pray, but I will go to the Shrine of our Lady Sunday, I,ll light a candle for you.

Well that is very sweet of you and I do appreciate that... I'm not the normal prayer type either... My father was a preacher for a very long time and then got out of it to become an archivist... Mostly because His father was dying of cancer so he took time off to care for him... I have some pics of my dad from a while back that are how I remember him... The pics I got from the hospital after my mom (they've been divorced for a while now but she goes to see him every week and calls daily to check on him) and sister found him at the nursing home half dead already made me sick... They hadn't checked on him... His catheter was horrific and the EMT's were called because my mom wanted him taken to the hospital.... The EMT looked at the nurse and said "Is pee supposed to be red?" (sarcastically) and the nurse said "yes" (seriously)... I told my mom had I been down there she'd had to have bailed me out of jail.... Daddy is suffering from a major stroke and guillam-berre syndrome (not sure if that's the exact spelling)... He's trapped by his muscles in his body and his left side is paralyzed by the stroke and he's no longer able to eat, chew, swallow or talk because of the stroke destroying that part of his brain... He's fed through a tube in his tummy... It's just terribly hard to stay here and know that he's going through this alone most of the week and getting a few visits on the weekends... I wish my family and I could be there for him.... But I'll pray instead...

Is the England Nazereth, famous all over the world with pilgrims, and from my living room window we can see the shrine. I have been there once and shes beautiful our " lady of the shrine" it brought tears to my eyes. There was the shrine of candles and I will go Sunday as promised.............My grandad whom I loved dearly had a stroke so I know how you feel, all i can say is please try to keep your chins up, it isnt easy I know.:)

i wish you the best of a bad situation. i can relate to your prdicimate, my mother has a rare aillment,(uncurable...as does my uncle) and is living with a gentleman that has sever liver problems. i am waiting for the day that all h ll breaks loose so i can help pick up the peices of 3 different families.

until then i take one day and move foward.

it is not easy to lose anyone , especially family , but we must go forward for them. i say this because i lost a brother in Feb. massive stroke. i had to drive from Meridian Miss. to my house with his wife. that was a long ride. i made it not because of me or her , but because i had to get her home.

that is my loss and i still feel it.
take it easy slow but forward is the key to doing it.

I'm trying... This morning my son (Niko age 4) had a seizure, first one he's had in over a year... Scared the hell out of my youngest because he hadn't seen Niko do this before... 15 mins of pure hell I tell you specially when you are told the 911 meds you are giving him are supposed to work... Paramedics came out and took his vitals and he's been sleeping since... He'll be going in sooner than expected for another EEG and Neuro visit.. Not a good start to the day...

I'm afraid I will have to leave you beautiful people.

I have a lot of difficulty in posting here. For a start I cannot post from my office. These silly twats have put a blocker in the network that blocks anything that is not "suitable for human consumption" so they say. Fat chance this forum is so bad, really, I would not mind my own daughter to post in here, actually. That's how safe I think this forum is.

And at home, there too I have problems. My wife saw Jazzy's avatar and she nearly fainted. I tried to tell her that it's not what she thinks (ha ha, that's what all guys say).

And anyway I am too wild for you guys. You people are wonderful really and I cannot guarantee to fall in line with your standards. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

But hey. I saw Penny naked and I think she's terrific. Thanks.

Well anyway I am simply dying to be in touch with some of you people and should anyone want to be in touch with me I shall be only happy to converse. My E mail is:

skybird@solay.net

Please be in touch, if you wanna.

And my site is :

www.seadove.us.tt

I have a great forum there. Should anyone want to join well atleast I can talk with you guys during working hours. My forum is not yet banned. Ha ha .

I love you people.

Goodbye

Dovey

Skybird, you can change your preferences to hide all the avatars! I do that when my son is home, it makes it so much safer for him that way. Please give this careful consideration, I know I will miss you!

Hey Skybird,

I too have been blocked from posting with the little smileys at work and my home situation is not conducive to being on the site when wife and family are around. Part of a different story but if you want to post from work what I found is you have two options:
A) You can use the quick reply box at the bottom and post

B) if you want to add a comment from a persons post click on the reply with qoute button then highlight it and copy it to the quick reply box at the bottom. Then add your comments. Then only thing you cant do is add the smileys.

I still havent figured out how to chat from work though.

I am sorry to here that you need to go. I can sympathize with you on your home situation. Mine is the same but compounded a bit.

Damn women anyway...oh, guess I'm one of them. If she really wants to know what you're up too she could come and visit with us. But since you can only post at work then that might not be possible. Good Luck and See ya...:wa:

I was talking to Ross last night - he's back in Afghanistan to replace Canadian soldiers killed in action. Many of you don't know him as he hasn't checked in for a while, but he is a wonderful person with a heart as big as the world.

He's fighting with the 2nd Battalion of Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry if any of you care to follow his group in the news.
Ross told me about some of the things he sees every day; some of his daily concerns. They were horrific to me, but he seems to accept them as a matter of course. I wonder if that's what war does - steels you to accept the reality of your surroundings. Perhaps that's God's way of keeping him sane.
Please keep him in your prayers - that he and all our brave troops will come home safe.
