OK!! For all of you computer literate men and women out there, how do I attach an avatar to my postings? I have one picked out...it is customized...it is very cute...and it describes me well. I just have no idea how to get it from point A to point B. Please help. And don't use any big words...:whee:

Are winzip files allowed? Will they decrompress when uploading?

u can resize most pics with many different graphics software..... i use photoshop... and..interactive jpeg optimiser to cut the file size down.... limit there is 20k i think...

animated gifs are another matter, at the moment i dont have any software to edit those, but werkin on it.... any animated gif wud still have to fit the 150 X150 limit, plus the 20k limit..

Actually the pictures are much worse...TIGER...and would probably shock even you. Because I don't want you to have a stroke looking at my pics....and I don't want them circum-sized yet, I'll try by myself first...:D and if I am unable, unwilling I'll let you know..:wa:

how to find a moving avatar...run a search on moving avatars...not many work here though...you just have to save and try uploading them. Most cartoon ones work and ones with very few movements.


in your picture program...which ever one you have ..look for the re-size option and make it 150 by 150. You also often need to change the format. I can see that some programs are simple to use others are quite complicated to do simple things...enjoy
