View Full Version : Ladies - is male versus male confrontation a turn on?

I know I don't have to ask the guys, a lot of us are turned on by all kinds of female versus female confrontation. :D

Ladies, how about you? Is there anything arousing about two men arguing? One man intimidating another? Two men fighting, either in sanctioned matches or street fights?

Curious to hear your responses. :sc

It wouldn't excite me at all to see two men argue or fight. In fact, the few times that I have witnessed such, it was so childish.

No, it is not a turnon... I think men fighting is a huge turn off...

I know that this is a ladies Q&A but not sure what you meant with the first statement...but for the record, female vs. female confrontation is something I never care to see...not a turn on at all...

True, some men don't care much for it, but some do.

It just seems to me there are some men that are infuctuated with women being catty or even fighting. But I know of few women that say openly they enjoy any kind of male confrontation. I wonder why the disparity?

I'll risk being flamed as a sexist here, but I do think the fact that women rarely hurt each other in a fight adds to the popular appeal. If a female fight were truly vicious and bloody, I think very few men would want to see something like that.

Does it make it different if it's part of a sport - boxing, hockey, ultimate fighting, etc. ?

I think it might have been a soap opera for quite some time...it was just marketed at guys in their 30's and 40's......the only really funny thing I find about it is that when you get muscle bound men and rub oil all over their bodies lots of guys want to watch it...I find it a bit creepyIf it's definately part of a sport, it's not childish because they are making money...lol But I it still doesn't excite me. I will have to go on board with the other women who replied to this thread ...

I find "fighting" to be a childish and immature behavior, showing only that the fighter lacks sound judgement, self-control and the ability to identify and solve problems. Not someone I'd fall head over heels for!

This, of course, is not including WWC (F, G, H, I, J or whatever it is called) events as that is show-business; choreographed for an audience. I am just talking of real men handling their problems physically.

As far as men finding that fighting women turn them on ... is this like "mud-wrestling" fighting? Or actual brawling?? I have never been told that men were turned on by the latter ... am eager to hear others reply.

Ah ha! :wa:

On edit: What do you find arousing about it?

I think it is the intensity of the game itself and not the fights. Watching them so focused on that little black puck.. getting upset over something as the fans get upset over it... The fans are a part of what is happening.

I honestly don't know why I like it... but I don't think it arouses me.. just gets me excited more about the game

My take is the mud wrestling would probably appeal to a broader base of men than a street brawl.

But now that you've mentioned the mud wrestling - that type of thing does attract big crowds. And I don't think the guys watch it for the gals' wrestling skills! :dd

The fighting in hockey has been a part of it since hockey first started. When you have guys skating at full speed, checking one another, have sticks in their hand and are fighting over a little piece of rubber, it can get frustrating. I played hockey for 25 years and have had my fair share of fights, as anybody who has played hockey for some time. Fans love it, plain and simple. Any many times I watch the women in the stands, as two guys are duking it out on the ice and they are hootin and hollerin as loud as everyone else, loving it just as much.

So, whaddya say, ST, how about you and me spend some time in the penalty box after we have a little "roughing" and some "high sticking"?

I must agree. I grew up a hockey fan and watched it for a few years. We have a mall here in which the junior leagues play and practice. Fighting has always been part of the game I understand. But, in this junior league and on one particular day the teens began to fight. They threw off their gloves and began to pound each other. The refs and the players and the captians just stood there and allowed them to fight for about five minutes before breaking them up. How is this ok? What is right about letting kids punch eachother in the faces in the glory of the sport? I never did like violence, even in sports. Now I do not watch hockey. Seeing that fight that day made me sick to my stomach and the fact that they allowed the kids to participate in such voilence caused me to lose all respect for the sport.

At that young age, it should not be a part of the sport. When I was young, we fought alot and actually, some of the teams we were to play didn't want to play us because we would beat the shit out of the other team. It really was ridiculous, to be doing that at 8, 9 or 10 years old. But either way, hockey can be a tremendous sport, with it fast pace, fluid passing, clean physical play which is a great game to watch in person. The occasional fight adds a little spark but it is the nasty stick penalties, interference and infractions that just slow the game down that I hate about it.

Punching, broken noses and blood do nothing for me....I hate to see anyone in pain.
