My first winter in MN, it was the lamest winter ever. I'm chomping at the bit to test out my new 4WD car and there was hardly any snow at all. My second winter - BAM! 80 inches of snow. My car was in permanent 4WD for at least 4 months! I remember it being 32 degrees and we were all out in sweaters (no coats): 50 degrees, in t-shirts. Oh yeah, the bars closed at 1am. What's up with that??

State College was always a blast. You have to walk everywhere so no worries for drinking and driving. Austin is not really a "college town" per se but I had some good times there too. There were some great bars up in Wash Huskie-ville. How about you? I don't think I ever partied in SC. I was too busy trying to get as far away from South of the Border as possible! ha ha

There are some good college towns here in SC-Clemson (even though I hate them) Columbia is under rated...

Wrigleyville is great--did it one time. I would love to do Fenway sometime too--ever done that one. I had a lot of fun in Boston--wheb I was there the sox were not there. Hubby not arround tonight?

Yes, they do close early there.. But everyone always goes to someone's house afterwards... Usually someone with a fireplace and a space to dance, with tons of dark corners or empty rooms - or they all go to watch "submarine races" or "polar bear fights" at a local lake (just pick one).
