One of my ex's had got me 21 dozen roses on my 21st birthday - I think that was the sweetest, most romantic thing anyone has ever done for me. I will never forget that day nor him :)

Probably cleaning out a closet a few weeks ago and the two of us finding a picture of the limousine my husband was driving on the day we met. We have so many memories of that limousine. It later became the limousine that I drove for him when he was the boss.....

.... man... those days for him are long over!!

Of course I have to mention the wedding night. Hubby had put candles and rose petals all over the sides of the jetted tub. Also had petals floating in the water. We were sitting in the tub, and he was slowly pulling out all the bobby pins that were in my hair. Inbetween the pins he would kiss neck/back.

I would have to say it was the first saturday morning our honeymoon and my wife and I made love for hours. I am pretty sure we didn't get out of bed until 4pm that day. We just held eachother and made love and talked and did it all over again all day.

walking hand in hand along the beach with an old girlfriend, looking at the stars and talking about everything and nothing at the same time. I stopped, looked in her eyes, and planted a wonderful kiss on her full lips. She told me how much she loved me, and ripped off her one piece jumpsuit she had on and told me to take her right there. (I'm still pulling pieces of sand out of the crack of my ass after all these years)

.....the day I got down on one knee and proposed to him on the cobblestone at the riverfront. I was shaking like a leaf and refused to slip the ring on because I was scared it wouldn't fit. He lifted me up, began to cry, and told me he would be honored to spend the rest of his life with me.

When he looked in my eyes, took me in his arms and told me he was falling in love with me, Then kissed me and we had the most incredible sex I ever had. And he tenderly held me afterwards, stroking my hair and holding me close. It ended a couple of years later and I met my husband, who has no sense of romance at all.

It was a hard morning.....was time to say goodbye. We were in my kitchen, I was sitting on his lap. We were sad......decided to go to breakfast. Got back a while later....stood outside...sulking, trying not to state the obvious. He looked at me, I looked at him, I looked down at the ground. We had run out of time. I handed him a cd.....told him to listen to track 11. He went to look at it...told him no cheating, just listen. He went to say goodbye.....I corrected him. Not goodbye....see you later.....never goodbye. We held one another for a few moments until we had to rip away. It was hard to look at him as he walked away......just stared at the ground....sad.....trying to avoid the moment. He would turn back as if to walk back up the hill....then walk forward again. I waved and smiled.......for his benefit, as if to say,"It's gonna be ok." I watched him drive away........

Cruise ship late at night, walking out on the deck after dancing most of the night, trying to cool off, moon was full, you could hear the lapping of water as the ship moved in the water going to yet another Island to explore the next day, standing at the rail behind her, looking out onto the ocean as the moon played on the water, smelling her perfume and listening to her soft voice telling me how beautiful the night was. She slowly turned towards me :knuddel:

We were driving to a gig that night...done talking for the time being...most everything had been said up until then...just glad to be within reach of each other...I could turn my head and gaze at her all I wanted...the sun was starting to go down, so I pulled over and found a nice view of the distant hills...unhooked her safety belt, pulled her close, turned her so she could watch also, wrapped my arms around her...smelled the sweet gentle scent of her hair, the scent of her neck...and not a word was spoken as we watched the sun recede beneath the horizon. We stayed like that, not moving, for I don't know how long...

Waking up in a hotel room in Rome - in an old 19th Century building.. the ochre paint peeling off its facade. A gentle breeze coming pushing the net curtain at the open window aside. The noise from the narrow street below wafting up. Great sex

Now it brings bittersweet memories, but when I went to meet the woman whom I would recognize to be the love of my life, we wanted to have time alone, so we chose to walk through a state park near the town where we were meeting. There was no one around and we basically had run of the place.

Not knowing where to go, we just drove aimlessly until we came to a parking area next to a lake. We walked to the lake and found a very sturdy T-shaped dock -- not really a dock, more like a jetty built so people could stand out over the lake -- and held each other and kissed. It was intimate and beautiful. We then strolled along some paths holding hands and stopping frequently to kiss each other and look into each others' eyes.

Because it was late October, we repaired to my car where we snuggled and made out some more. Although we both wanted each other, we behaved, fervently believing that our time for that precious moment would come eventually, and we wanted it to be special.

As I drove out of the park, I stopped at the exit to kiss her deeply for a few more minutes. Fortunately, no more cars came by.

I took her back to her car and said a tearful goodbye. Then I drove the three hours home in a daze, heartened yet burdened by the realization that I has just left the love of my life behind.

A couple of weeks later, reminiscing about that wonderful day, I decided to look for satellite pictures of that park to see whether I could find that exact location beside the jetty. It took me some maneuvering, but fortunately I'm not directionally challenged and came across the T-shaped jetty staring me right in the face. What I noticed next melted my heart: There in the parking area was my car. I zoomed in closer and scanned the entire area where we'd been walking and found no evidence of us out on the paths or the jetty. The satellite had taken a picture of the precise moment when we were in my car.

She's left me now, so it's bittersweet to go back and see that satellite image. The image is still there. Yet, I can't help but think fondly of those moments when I was all alone with the love of my life in a beautiful setting, loving her...

One of my fondest memories.......

I was flying (for the first time) up to see him (for the first time in his state). I was seriously ill and didn't know until the very last minute if I would be able to make the flight. He knew that I was very anxious about flying and traveling out of my comfort zone. He wanted to make the stay as comfortable and as special as possible. On one of the nights we went to this hotel. It wasn't like any I had ever been to. I remember it being a long drive, and how relieved we were to finally be there. Upon walking in I noticed a jacuzzi and a sizable room. He was going through the room and checking on all of the accommodations. He opened the mini fridge and simply said, "Good." I realized he had ordered a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. This was when my heart kind of melted. This was when I realized just the kind of effort and thought he had put into my visit.....I was touched and had one of the best times of my life during those few short days.

My most romantic memory..hmmmm...well, probably with the man I once thought was the love of my life...he brought a bottle of red wine that evening... we talked and drank by candelight for hours, kissed passionately, made the most incredible love for hours, bringing me to heights I never knew existed...then lying safe and warm in his arms afterwards, while he stroked my hair and kissed my forehead, looking into each others eyes...and the next day he brought me the most beautiful flower arrangement...with an incredibly touching card...
