Like I think Romo could be a sleeper QB this year, and would deserve a rooster spot.

Being a Cowboys fan, I agree with you. I think a real steal is going to be the new TE at Chicago. Grossman found him two or three times last night. I bet he will put up numbers better than Gonzales at Kansas City.

Wade is a PANSY! TO will have his worse year ever with his off of the field activities. Hopefully this will be his last year here. Cant believe we kept him when there were so many good WR in the draft.

But there is only 2 or 3 WR that make defenses change their scheme to play and I hate to say ut but TO is one.
I even like what the Bills are doing, just to bad they have the schedule they do. If they had a better schedule they would end up better than 6 and 10.

Brady has the arm and with the threat, it's hard to say, but they like to pass the ball around so much it's a hell of a gamble. Hard to say, wonder how high in the draft he goes.
By the way I play in high performance which changes the strategy if you're in a TD league only.

Thanks, but my job really keeps me from getting into a league and putting the time I want to in it. I am a GM of a big box retailer and work too many hours.
Get L J if his hold out comes to an end.. 1700 last two seasons. I bet he has one more in him. Reggie Bush's sophmore year will be a good one.

Ahhh, if there is one thing I can talk about as much as sex, it is football. I would like to comment on a few previous posts.
1. I think Romo is a safe pick. Everyone, including you, should take running backs with their first two picks, but I would take Romo with my 3rd if he was available.
2. With the quarterback ?s in KC, I would probably avoid Tony G. this year. He is great TE, but with that line and if Croyle is QB, I wouldn't expect too much.
3. TO had the most touchdowns of all receivers last year, so I will be taking him if he is available. Once Romo took over and realized TO was so good in the red zone, he actually started throwing to him. I expect TO to have a good year, which is one reason I would also take Romo.

Very good comments, so I take it you are use to a high performance league, point for rectp's, 3 pt bonus for out of position TD and so forth...it usually takes around 150+ to win in our league.
Do you believe in the strength of schedule theory, especcially as it applys to Thomas Jones with the Jets, as they have 3 rd hardest schedule for RB's?

If you want the guy who will have the best season of the receivers for the Pats, look for Wes Welker or Ben Watson, the TE. Randy Moss currently has hamstring issues and Donte Stallworth has had hamstring issues his entire career.
Welker may not be the TD threat but will have more receptions and more opportunities.
If your in a TD league, like the one I run, watch for Sammy Morris at the goal line back.

TO is a cancer....he will rot that team from the inside out. He knows Jerry Jones is in his corner so Wade is screwed. Parcells just left it alone, knowing his hands were tied and he was 10 times the coach of Wade Phillips.

I wouldn't pick his as your #1 QB, you will be disappointed in his production. If you had him as your #2 and used him on weeks when he had favorable matchups, you could maximize his point value.
This is my 19th year running a Fantasy League, which is mainly TDs but we do have some yardage points in there also so I am a seasoned veteran. I am usually in a couple other leagues online also. I win often so if anyone would like some suggestions, PM me or email me and I would be happy to help.

Man would I ever love to do this with you guys but I fear my crazy life would make me very undependable. You guys better watch picking Romo, he's not gonna be what everyone thinks he is. That last preseason game against Houston the "end of last season" Romo showed up BIG TIME. Matt Schaub would be a better pick than Romo.
As far as cowboys go, somebody better snag Demarcus Ware and Marion Barber. Witten is always safe bet. I just wouldn't count on Romo for anything.

Who do like as RB's
Everybody knows about LT, Shaun Alexander and Larry Johnson so enough said about those guys
Travis Henry in Denver...there backs always do well and he's always been productive and will play hurt
Brandon Jacobs for the Giants...the guy is a monster, bigger than most LB's and was the goal line guy last year with Tiki. Now there is no more Tiki so he is the guy. They will spell him a little with Rueben Drougns but not for the goal line.
Rudi Johnson for the Bengals....he's dependable, gets good yardage decent TD's and is the main guy there.
Maurice Jones-Drew for Jacksonville....played a huge part of their offense in the second half and was superb. Fred Taylors days are numbered.
Some much lesser know guys to look at....(sleepers)
Rookie Marshawn Lynch with the Bills

Just a couple comments ---
Holmgren says he's going to limit Alexander to about 300 carries this year -- so probably won't see a lot of production out of him as a part-time back
Travis Henry will be the next big splash -- the Broncos running game could get your grandmother a thousand yards.
Marshawn Lynch is the real deal.

Yesterday evening I was watching the local news and the U of A had a press conference. Seems as if the split fan base convinced Houston Nutt to resign after coaching the Arkansas Razorbacks for 10 years.
I heard a rumor that Darren McFaddin (D-Mac) was going to the Cowboys next year, he's a junior, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

THere is nothing set up on the web with any other the big FF websites to promote college ff. If anyone did they would have to return to theold days when you had to get all the stats out of the paper the next day.

As for Arkansas football they made a huge mistake going to the SEC they should have joined the Big 12 with Texas. They lost a big yearly rivalry when they left and they have not been the same in the SEC. As for Houston Nutt he should be gone! With all of the Texas HS kids that can be recruited to Ar. and yet Oklahoma gets the job done and Arkansas only success is beating LSU.
I can only pray that McFadden gets drafted to the Cowboys, even though I won't complain at the job that we are getting done with Julius and especially Marion the Barbarion!
