The national tour for the Sept. 11th Memorial and Museum was started yesterday. George and I were able to take our 4 year old and be some of the very first to see it. We heard survivors speak, we watched a short but very compelling video outlining the events of that day from the perspectives of surivivors and family members of those who didn't survive. It truly touched my heart. We got to sign a steel beam that is going to be used in the building of the Memorial - such an awesome honor. I cried while I watched my son write his name on that beam. All I could do was hug him when he asked why the buildings fell. George had to explain that one...

I want to let you all know that this is going on so that you can see when it is going to be coming to your hometown or a town close to you. It is definitely worth going to see. I am attaching a link to the official website for the Monument and Museum as well as a link to an article in my hometown's newspaper.

Thank you, hoss -- too often, we Americans make that OUR tragedy, but it was called the WORLD Trade Center for a reason. It was truly an incident with significant international ramifications.
