30% done, you sure you can hang on? It could happen. I remember the 73 season. My Vikings played the undefeated Dolphins and got beat.

It should be exciting that is for darn sure. The team this year looks good, however, as you know, 16 and 0 in football is very hard to come by. Were you a Vikings fan when they were termed the 'purple people eaters'?

I really can't see anyone beating them - but going undefeated in the NFL is extremely difficult.
This week will certainly be a tough test for them. Indy is no slouch that is for certain. As for the whole cheating thing. They all cheat, it is just that sometimes they get caught.

My other worry is the last game of the season when the Giants come to Foxboro. That could be a tough game.....

by then it wont matter, The giants will have screwed up their season like they always do :D

While I'm not a Pat's fan......(NO OFFENSE TO THOSE WHO ARE!!!) I really think they have a chance this year if they make it through this weekend. They sure are fun to watch this year!!!!

I only want the Patriots to go 16-0 so those old Miami Dolphin players no longer crack open the champagne when a team loses their bid to break their streak.

The whole cheating thing is such a crock of shit. Yes they were caught videotaping the other teams defensive coaches. Everyone in the league watches the sidelines of the other team. There are people in the press boxes, stands, whereever, with binoculars watching the defensive signals all the time. What most people don't realize is that there are usually 3 or 4 defensive coaches that are sending in the signals. Only one of them is the actual legit one while the others are decoys since they all know the other team is watching this stuff to try and steal the signs. On top of that, pictures are taken of ever formation by the other teams so they can review them on the sidelines. they are scanned in or digitally sent to the sidelines all the time so the team can review them to make adjustments. This is commonplace, by every team, every game.
The fact that the Patriots were videotaping is not something that would help them during that game either. There is no way possible that they could video tape the other team and relay that info to their own team that fast. They don't have microphones in their helmets on defense so this info could only be used for the future, to match up particular sideline signs with the defensive formations so players could recognize them on their own the next time they played the Jets.
This whole thing is absolutely ridiculous.
As far as the Patriots running up the score, they are professional football players who are paid to play football, on offense, defense and special teams. Everyone has a job to do. Some score, some stop the other team from scoring and other do both on special teams. The other 31 teams also have the same jobs. If they don't want the Patriots to score, stop them, plain and simple. I say, take no prisoners, kick ass, take names. I also understand, when the Patriots do take a down turn and aren't very good, other teams will remember this year and beat the shit out them any chance they get so, at some point, the Patriots will have to pay the piper for steamrolliing these teams but I don't give a damn. I love it!
What all the naysayers don't realize is that, while they bitch, moan and complain, they are missing out on watching what will be regarded as the best team EVER in the NFL. This season will go down in history.

Damn, you're really passionate over something other than Mighty.
Looks like it's gonna be an all-Boston year. Makes me kinda sick.

San Diego is going to show up and give them a run, tall task but if we do not take them down I do not see them losing in the superbowl (although I'll be rooting against them) Go bolts, its time to derail the train and get some payback from last year!!

Going into Sunday's game they are a fourteen point favorite. With Rivers being hurt and LT not 100% it is going to be tough to beat them. Not in our house! I heard the latest weather is temps in the 20's and blustery winds.
Welcome to Trophey Town, Bolts!

You hit the nail on the head, pal. 19-0, here we go. 1 month until pitchers and catchers report to spring training. It's a good time to be a Boston sports fan (except the Bruins...) and the only thing we fans need to do is not spoil this historic period by acting like pricks and shouting "Yankees Suck" every time there is a camera within a mile. I can't stand that crap and I've been a Boston fan ever since my first ball game with my grandfather and father. My grandfather rembembered when Fenway had no ladies rooms and Boston Patriots had to play on BU's field when the college team gave them some free time. Times have certain changed! Pats vs. Giants? I like it.

Can't say that I'm rootin for them, never have been a Pats fan. But I will give them credit. They are one of the best if not the best team to play the game yet, all accusations of cheating aside, because as it was said everybody does it. Kinda like the baseball deal. I don't guess it's cheating if it's on an even playing field. Of course I am and always have been a Saints fan so my knowledge of winning football teams is limited. :lmao :lmao
