I personally thought it was great - not because the Rockies lost but how it played out and the last to close games.

Not bad, the last game was the best!
Nothing beat sweeping the yankees in the last 4 games 2 yrs ago though...
I thought it was great because the Rockies lost but would have been nice if the winning game was at Fenway. I would rather a sweep on the road then a close series at Fenway though.

It was a great series some good pitching and some big bats...
Watching Beckett pitch was the best part for me. Man! he's got good stuff... Tough to hit a 95mph fastball with that kind of movement on it...

I really didn't watch much...I had a feeling it would be a sweep so I didn't really get invested in it.

Exactly my sentiment. I didn't go in expecting to really watch much, but there's something about playoff baseball that really intrigues me. Probably due to how much the crowd gets into it.
I watched in high definition, plugged the sound into my surround stereo and felt like I was at the ballpark :)

I liked it but I heard it was the second lowest rated series ever for TV. I guess there wasnt much interest in it from the rest of the country

The better team won so it is always good when that happens. The worst thing that could have happened to Colorado was the huge layoff they had between series. They lost their momentum and that was their biggest allie.

BOSTON—Although Colorado players, managers, and coaches said they would not issue a formal complaint about the playing conditions in Boston, the Rockies have gone on record as saying the "thick, soupy sea-level air" in the city made it unusually difficult for them to play baseball. "Seriously, I can barely push my bat through this stuff," said Rockies slugger Matt Holliday, who collapsed and had to be administered less oxygen after Wednesday's practice. "I was hitting them as hard as I could out there and the ball was still returning to the earth. We might as well be playing in quicksand." Other Rockies players were equally vocal in their criticism of the hostile atmosphere in Boston, with Kaz Matsui claiming he found it hard to slide through the viscous air and Willie Taveras aggravating a recent thigh injury while attempting to stand up quickly.

That is very funny. I tried not to laugh as I want to be a good sport and the Rockies did give it their all, but again, that was funny.

Wasn't particularly exciting for me. I tend to root for the underdog, so I hated to see the Rockies lose every game.

I thought it was a bit of a let down.... I wanted the Rockies to beat the Soxs. Would have been nice to see the team full of kids win...

I certainly could have done without A-rod the F*($ Rod trying to steal the thunder from Boston with his info that "leaked" out. What a tool. I hope that Boston keeps Lowell and says to hell with the Rod.

I was at Game 2 and although it didn't come out the way I had hoped,it was still fun and maybe the only chance to attend a World Series here in Denver so it was still a great experience! Honestly,I am really happy that they went to the World Series at all since noone though they would prior to them winning the Wild Card Game.
You don't have to like the Rockies to respect a young team goin that far with such a young organizations and beating alot of the best teams out there to get there.
