It's finally a reality.

You can now travel anywhere in time .... and get back (a significant upgrade from the Microsoft TimeWindow 2.0)!!

What's your destination, and why?

I am a student of the Revolutionary period of our country. I would love to travel back, see George Washington, sit in on the development of the Declaration of Independence.

Wow, interesting question! There are several dates that I would travel back to. I am sure there are hundreds of dates I would travel to, but here are just a few.

1976 I would find out just exactly where that baby cottontail rabbit went to that disappeared in our house. :whee: Spend some time with my grandparents. Tell my dad not to be reading a road map and driving lol that was one hell of a bumpy ride.

1889 The Oklahoma Land Run would have been sight to see, might have staked me a claim too.

1787 Watch the guy who wrote the constitution on paper without white-out or microsoft word, lol that alone amazes me. Not to mention it was an amazing time in the history of the United States.

1886 To see the dedication of The Statue Of Liberty.

I would travel back to before my grandmother (whom practically helped to raise me) became ill and out of sorts and tell her that even though we butted heads many a times that I loved her unconditionally and also to find a way for her to know that near the end when I was taking care of her that she wasn't a burden on me, I was meerly doing for her what she had done for me my entire life.

Wow! so many opportunities, but if I could I would go back and travel with Marco Polo from Italy to China in the merchant caravans. Why? well I love the Silk Road, and I love this period in history. The Mongols had conquered everything in their path, changing the course of history in many regions of Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Kubilai Khan was in charge of China, Mangu and Ogodai were ruling over Russia and the Middle East and although the Mongol onslaught was furious, their reign was moderate and very religiously open for its time. Though I have never lived in China, I would love to, I find modern China fascinating, compelling, challenging and confronting. I would love to have been there as a western visitor way back in the time of the Yuan dynasty and see what it was like then. And to go through the many countries the early Italian traders did and experience the danger, the colour, the variety of cultures and people, well it would be unbelievable...

I don't know why but I always seem to forget that you and I are the same age. Saw the 1991 there and thought, hey that's the year I graduated HS!

Year 31-33 - Palestine - find out Jesus REALLY had to say...and what Judas actually did...

1483, England - get the real goods on Richard III and his nephews

1189 - England meet Eleanor of Aquitaine

1966-69 - the Sixties in America

1787 - maybe tweak the Constitution and Bill of Rights so it wasn't so murky today

One month ago - with the winning lottery numbers in hand!!

I'm sure there's more...
