Hell it wasnt their, they showed you one prison where they excute people two mins past midnight, the actual method too, and the other prison where they have a routine of what resembled hell, man I couldnt survive, yet the guys they spoke too were honest what they done. They have these programmes on every sunday night, and I find them dammed interesting.

Hey, Guys! The insanity plea was mostly taken away in 1964 (in Michigan and other states), the mental institutions were closed wholesale, and the prisons filled. The criminally insane are in prison. Security is tight on the psychopaths, sociopaths, murderers, serial rapists, etc. They are in max security. Even with all the security, a friend of mine that taught school in the prison came close to being taken hostage. One other teacher wasn't so lucky. All ended well, but the person taking the hostage was capable of great harm. Prisons are mostly for babysitting prisoners. They learn from worse offenders. I counselled some on a voluntary basis. Some were incapable of realizing their offenses or were in complete denial. Even a sociopath can appear normal. In order to get a parole, they must admit their offense. Many do not and serve their full sentences. Others will never be right. Rehabilitation is self-imposed. They either decide to get better or not on their own. Budgets do not afford but one or two psychologists per 1,000 prisoners. The psychs can only handle 20 or 30 at a time. If an evaluation shows a prisoner is not ready to admit their crime, they are passed-over. The first step in rehab is admitting you have a problem.

Sure is nice to relax with friends:knuddel: I do spend time on the road, but I am lucky enough to sleep in my own bed most nights in one of two homes 180 miles apart. I can drive 500 to 700 miles a week. The dog doesn't go everywhere with me, but he travels between homes. Some days I can put 250-300 miles. I have clients all over the state and in several other states. Thankful for the modern office (in my car), cell phones, computers, faxes that can let me leave my main office behind. I find a lot of Panera Breads and call them my other office with the Wifi.:55

Your travel sounds hard but doable, I use to be away from home way to much sleeping in hotel beds and eating out all the time.But there were exciting times and things i did i wouldnt have been able to do without having that job.

Doable, yes. Fast food a lot, yes. Hotels, no.

Sounds like an adventure for you. I always liked travel, but I was once offered a job that would keep me in hotels 3-5 days a week:( Not my cup of tea. I turned it down.
