View Full Version : Thanksgiving
Put aside differences and let's all give a high five to our U.S. Military Forces serving around the world. Far from home, and in some cases in combat, these men and women are the best our country has.
They deserve our thanks and our gratitude.

 Best wishes to all!
My wife and I took a nice walk before Thanksgiving Dinner yesterday. We live about three (03) miles from the Marin Headlands and went there. There is a walk that you can take that will you passed Battery Townsely, a WWII Era Coastal Artillery mount. The Battery mounted a 16 inch naval gun, which could fire a shell 12 miles out into the Pacific Ocean. 110 men lived there. The view is beyond belief.
Never a shot fired in anger.
