I would have to say the best place on earth is deep in the Kickapoo Valley, so deep if you didn't know your way around you would be so lost, on the back of my horse on a day so hot that stoping at the river and taking a dip in the waist deep cool spring fed river feels soooo good. The current is moving so fast that if you walk up stream and float on your back you cruise down stream. Follow that up by riding to a bluff so high that you can watch the bald eagles fly below you and have the one you love close snuggled in your arms. Just sit in silence and enjoy the moment where everything is allright and nothing on your body hurts and the moment is just plain perfect, Yes, that is my best place on earth.

There is a waterfall I've been to that is a mile hike in shin to waist deep water. The waterfall splits into twin falls due to a huge boulder at the top. There are cliffs on either side, and a gravel island in the center of the pool below. Sitting on that little island, and swimming in the pool with my wife makes that the best place I have ever been.
