call me stupid if you like, but what is corn dog and sloppy joes?

Sloppy joes are ground meat in a spicy tomato base sauce....you eat it on a bun or open face. Corndogs are hotdogs dipped in cornmeal batter and then fried - good dipped in mustard. :lf

I suggest that in order to show us all what you know BEST how to do which is flirting...... Please tell us out here (for those po' folks who do not know what a corn dog is....) what a corn dawg tastes like and make that description so mouth watering that we will order you some...

( I really need to hear this description to believe that corn dawgs exist...and to test MaryCat on whether she merits her tongue in my ear....)

You have to admit that you don't make love that well if you are working with yourself and your partner on a FULL STOMACH..... Several inhibitors are drowsiness ( even he/ she's really turning you on..)....and the possibility of breaking wind (farting..)...

I heard that she was quiite a lady, could discourse about an infinite number of things. Her cuisine was rather conservative if I remember or was she into modern?
So many good people are now gone....God it makes me feel a little older thinking of Julia Childs and her television appearances when I was younger.

Exactly. Moderation and variety. Tonight we'll be having leftover beef stew, so I don't have to cook! Woohoo! It came out nice. Parsnips, potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, celery, green beans, and of course beef, that I marinated for a few hours before using.

It seems like 90% of my dinners have garlic in them.
On Sunday I roasted a chicken and had mashed potatoes beans and gravy. I had a lot of chicken left over so yesterday I made sauce and put the leftover chicken in it. Tonight we are going out to a resturaunt called Carraba's. I didn't spell that right. They are a chain and actualy owned by the Outback chain. It's an Italian resturaunt and the specialize in fire grilled meat. My favorite is their pork chop marsalla with garlic mashed potatoes. mmmmmm I can't wait!!

BIG O....that sounds great... especially those pork chops marsalla. Is that with cream (hehehe...), is it a white sauce ( watch out for that one....), or is that marsalla wine sauce? ( which I would prefer..)

So true. That's why I like doubling the recipes so I have more for the next day, or to put in the freezer.
This stew recipe called for garlic, onions, a bay leaf, Worchestershire sauce, and paprika, which I have never put in a stew before. It added just the right punch though. I like it!

I dont like garlic, thats the only think I detest, I eat fresh veggy and I live in the country, I dont smoke I walk near the sea, and for 59 despite my disability Im ok. SirFox

Believe me, fox, she's done more than her fair share.

I lived in Houston and had many friends in Louisiana. When Katrina hit, I wanted to do my share as I felt as a human being, human suffering should not be allowed to exist.

I called the American Red Cross and explained my credentials. I received a 16 page questionnaire which was sent back almost immediately.

Realising that there ought to be some other way, I asked friends living in Houston, Baton Rouge and elsewhere what I could do. Most said to sit tight.
I did and it was perhaps unfortunate. Or would I have been one person more to handle and to feed?

Only God knows the answer to that question.

Timmer4567: We are giving you a hard time, true. Relax...though...
Your first post was about porn videos. Did you know that there is on this list an introductory ritual? In college they called it, "rushing"....here we have another name...

And you must make it through and get at least 100 out of 200, otherwise you DO NOT get to pass and pick up the $200 each time you go around the board....

Welcome Timmer4567. You are going to be fun.

Norfolkdave

So have we something nice for dinner to match our outfits???

Garlic Broth, recipe follows
3 1/2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 shallots, diced
6 medium asparagus, trimmed and diced
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
6 rouget, 'butterflied'
30 wild or cultivated pencil asparagus, trimmed

One of my easiest recipes - good for busy nights - and one our faves. Here's the recipe:

1 small bottle of Kraft Russian Salad Dressing
1 envelope of onion soup mix
1 can of gellied cranberries (not the whole cranberries)

Combine in a bowl until smooth and pour over chicken in a 9x13 pan. Cook at 350 for one hour. Serve over rice.

Trust me. It sounds kind of horrid, but the flavours really complement each other nicely.

It's because we add a special vitamin blend to Marmite, enhancing the naturally nutritious yeast that's already there, that you can be sure Marmite's good for you.

Plus, we think toast with Marmite tastes better than most vitamin pills...

B vitamins benefit your body in all sorts of ways. They help regulate the kidneys, liver and nervous system as well as assisting with skin disorders and boosting energy:lmao

Marmite originally came in a small earthenware pot, similar to the kind of French casserole dish called a 'Marmite', (pronounced MAR-MEET). This may be where Marmite gets its name from.

You can still see the original 'Marmite' dish pictured on the front of the pot, but we started using glass jars in the 1920s. The shape of the jar and the distinctive red and yellow label have remained pretty much the same since then.
