is a round veg grown for stews and csasseroles, it has a purple skin fading to and earthy look, its harvested around October through Jan/Feb when other veg is scarce, its white in colour and can be skinned to show the white flesh, then add butter and a spoonful of milk, and mash together, grate cheese over the top, mmmm very nice, ot dice in cubes and put in stews.:hitit:

I have not had good red beans and rice. Only ever bought the package of Zatarans at the grocery. Wanted to try it. Is it supposed to be so spicy that your tongue falls off?

My son and I met up with friends at McDonald's so the boys could run around in the play area. Since hubby was working, we decided to eat there too.

I never realized, but one can have actual food there! I had a half-decent coffee and entree salad, and my son had white milk, a grilled cheese and apple slices. Not bad for fast food!
Tomorrow I'm making squash soup and couscous, so that will cancel out Mickey D's anyway!
