Does anyone have a comment about Chris Simon from the NY Islanders??

This morron just ended a 25-game suspension last year, and now is serving a 30-game suspension. For what you ask?
Kicking a player with his blade...do you know you can kill someone like that? Does Chris Simon really have to come back after and play with the other boys??

What do you think about proffessional players out of control?

I have always viewed chris simon as a jerk...so am i surprised no...but most players have some sort of self control....

There are plenty of players who are social misfits -- usually because of the attention, and privilege, their athletic skills got them.

But, there is no room for misfits within the context of the game. Just like in the real world -- the rules are the rules. Play by them or be gone.

He should be banned for life. When you are out there you have to assume that there are certain lines that won't be crossed, when a player crosses those lines there should be zero tolerance... that goes for all sports.

Now where is Avery gonna play next??

I actually loved the guy in Dallas, I think they(the hockey commissioner) was looking for a way to get Avery out of the league. But I believe he did nothing wrong, he didn't hurt anyone besides some girls feeling  (boo hoo).
And Chris Simon?? I bet I will see him next season on the damn ice.

Where is the justice??? :sc

As far as reasons to suspend a guy....I'm not sure what Avery did was a suspendable offense by a league. But I think his last two years in the league were tumultuous enough that he's scared enough people away...I just read today that he's close to being able to come back....I think Dallas can put him on waivers and then they would have to split paying his salary with whoever picks him up....he makes 4 million a year...i don't think anyone would pick him up for that...but if they only have to pay half that I'm thinking someone will take a chance on him....it'll be interesting to see what happens. Although they may let him rot in the AHL the rest of the season and start fresh again the summer..

The NHL set the bar too low with the McSorely and Bertuzzi messes.

I agree that it's high time for severe penalties for aberrant behavior.

Well don't you think if the Dallas Stars have to pay him...why the hell can't he play??
The story is that his teammates don't want him?? What?:yks
I don't like the people I work with but I deal with it and get the work done.
The Stars should be ashamed of themselves for not wanting to play with a good player. Sure he likes to get into the faces of his opponents, but he does get the other teams to take those stupid penalties...is that not the whole point??? Trying to get the edge on the other team to try and win the hockey game?
There are days I just don't understand anything! :sc

And don't get me started about Bertuzzi...I actually like the guy.
And who says that the weight of all the other team on Bertuzzi didn't cause the ....
