I confess I am an addict, but not nearly as bad as I was before. Since I am home most of the time, I check my messages very frequently, sometimes up to 5 times per day. Since I am trying to reach that 150 posts mark, I have been on this site about 1-2 hrs per day. At my worse point of my addiction, I could spend up to 4 hrs online, reading and writing blogs on other sites. My mind tends to be distracted with people from my second life. Instant messaging and chatroom is even worse, I can chat with a good friend for hours.

I think I have a skull phone wirelessly-connected to the Internet... You get used to the bump, but the incoming calls "rattle" the brain a bit.

Honestly, due to my work in an electric/gas utility's emergency preparedness group, I have 24/7 access to the Internet via a smartphone, aircard, and Toughbook laptop. On rare occasions, I actually get a chance to unplug - completely!

I only started posting in M&F, but I probably swing by every night or every other night for about an hour - just enough to annoy!
