Ok football junkies....only a month more to go can the Patriots pull off the unbeaten season, or will they get derailed....my feeling is Jacksonville has the best chance to knock them off if they can get by Pittsburgh, but if the Pats make it out of the AFC alive I think the NFC has no answer. AFC will win another superbowl this year, I am pulling for my chargers but am not to confident in our quarterback.

So will the Pats go 19-0??

I respect the fact you are a fan, and actually do have knowledge about your team....but we all know its not always about who looks better on paper...its the playoffs and everyone is 0-0 and the #1 seeds in both the AFC and NFC have not met since what 1993.....just meaning that momentum going in is huge...remember the steelers??.... Washington is hot, J-ville is hot and you cant tell me J-vills style in the cold/bad weather game does not scare ya a lil bit... AHHHH football I will miss it we only have a month!!

Jacksonville is a little scary but the way the pats will game plan is to take way what they are good at and force them to beat us with the pass and I am confident that we can put more points on the board then them. Indi is another story. They have showed that they can match the patriots and i am just glad it will be in foxboro if it happens....anyway. Always great talking football

Do I believe the Pats will go 19-0? Nope -- I'm not sure that they will get out of the AFC. But, if they do, there is only one NFC team with the tools to beat them -- on a given day. The Packers have a dynamic offense of their own, and have the ability, with two shutdown corners, to slow down the Patriots passing offense.

Will it happen that way? Who knows? That's why they play the games -- but if I have to pick:

I give the Redskins alot of credit... they put together a good run to get into the playoffs but just ran out of steam. Since the NFC is so weak, it is anybody's shot to make it to the bowl.

Regardless, the AFC will have the champ which will, of course, be the Patriots, so all this other talk is just senseless banter.

Yes they are. I not happy about Taylor and Jones-Drew running the ball at us. I did hear that the weather would not be a factor so Brady should be able to toss the ball around. Look for a lot of the Pat's stretching the defense and then going short to Welker and Faulk out of the backfield.

I havn't a clue what I'm talking about here (so shoot me down if you want) but I really want the Packers to do it this year.

They seem to be what I would call a proper Football team with a bit of history unlike a lot of these new teams that appear from nowhere or get remamed and re-located.

I watched a couple of the playoff games this weekend and enjoyed them, while not completly understanding what was going on.

I have developed a basic understanding of the sport which is an improvement on what I used to think about it.

I used to dismiss it as Rugby in fancy dress. :D

It has been a common practice by all teams for years to steal other teams signals. Why else do all the teams have 3 different coaches sending in signals to try and confuse the other team, that they know is watching and try and steal the signs? It's called gamesmanship. OIC...I've pretty much agreed with you on just about everything but I just can't get behind a team that has the arrogance of it's head coach, a team that blatantly broke a rule (SPYGATE) that was put into place specifically because of their actions the year before basically thumbing their nose at the league, and, even though I respect the teams players even you have to admit that Richard Seymour is one of the dirtiest players in the history of the NFL. Humbly put, OIC...and I agree. Their defense was just too pushy for Brady to have any time in the pocket...it was those extra 3 seconds in the pocket that cost the game. They played a helluva defensive match.

Congrats to the Giants. I'm a believer in momentum at the end of the season and into the post-season. I could tell the Giants had it and the Pats were losing it. I still thought the Pats would win, but it's no suprise to me that the Giants pulled it off. ALWAYS take the hot defense in the Super Bowl.

I'm really happy for Archie Manning. I always thought he was a great quarterback. He was doomed to play on a bad team. Now he has two quarterback sons with Super Bowl rings. A little vindication for a great player who never had the chance to play for a championship.

You have to realize that you are watching the greatest team of all time (The Patriots) I agree that San Diego is playing well right now but do you really think they could come into Foxboro and win? They didn't put up a very good fight in September. Every team the Pats have played over the last 6-7 weeks has been playing there best. It has been a playoff football for the last month and a half. They are battle tested, rested and ready to roll.........GO PATS!!!!
