Its hard to know who you are even chatting with until you hit 150 posts though.

I always thought of it as just being the latest person to walk into a crowded room. To the people already inside it is easy to spot the new folks and observe them. To those of us just strolling in it is like taking a quick glance across a sea of faces and postures....in other words it is a lot of information to get thrown at ya.

When I took a speech & debate class in High School it was comprised of me, two other guys and 19 girls. Not just any nineteen girls either...most of them were cheerleaders and gymnasts (AKA shapely and hot). I was intimidated immensely because I had to not only get over the common fear of public speaking but I had to do it in front of the best looking girls I had been around until that time.

It helped a lot when our instructor made the age old comment about easing your nerves by just imagining the audience naked or in their underwear. I'm afraid, while the mental image I got from doing that was heavenly, it did NOT make it easier in that situation :D

Here, from some of the avatars I've seen, I think imagining your audience naked will not be such a burden.

At 150 posts, you will become a premium member! This will mean that you can read profiles, see other threads, and see some of the picture gallery!
At 500 posts,you will be a Gold member and you will be able to load your own avatar on (keeping this at PG13), use PMs, see another forum with more threads and see the whole of the picture gallery!
If you would like an avatar before you reach 500 posts, you just need to send it to Penny or myself, Lena! They will be approved and attached to your profile for you!
