Oh, you are wrong manofiron. The animation in an ecard can be very sexy. My wife is very hot and bothered by the time she gets home if I send her a ecard at work. Just lets her know you are thinking about her at a time in the day when there is no other way to do so. What does it mean when a spouse sends an e-card? Well it can mean that they are thinking of you during the day and it's a prelude to what's coming later...or one is too lazy/"forgot" to get the real thing. Personally, I'd rather get an e-card than nothing at all.

My husband has sent me birthday e-cards before, but then he'd also give me a real card along with a gift. I think sending an e-card is a nice way to show someone that you're thinking of them, though some might see it as a little impersonal. Even if he'd only sent me an e-card, I wouldn't mind. Just the fact that he thought of me would make me happy.
