No, never got into the e-card thing. I know real cards are expensive now but still... Personability counts for something

Oh, you are wrong manofiron. The animation in an ecard can be very sexy. My wife is very hot and bothered by the time she gets home if I send her a ecard at work. Just lets her know you are thinking about her at a time in the day when there is no other way to do so. I am not worried about her thinking I am "cheap" as I am one of the best customers at the local flower shop. Try it, she'll like it. :55

Depends. If it's in the middle of the day as a way to say they are thinking of you like Wisconsin, that's nice. If it's for your birthday? I guess it depends on the relationship. I would rather get a regular card from a spouse, or a letter or something.

Hard to say. :sc

I know that's pretty wishy-washy. Sorry.

Cold, hard cash baby. One size fits all. A check or gift certificate would work. :55

Of course you can't put a price on love, can you?:kk

LOve plus money may work better sometimes for some people to reinforce..But agree love cannot be bought...but sold I believe. There are cultural elements honey...

My wife hates computers and has never used one. So my answer is no I have not received or sent her an ecard. I do have other friends I send ecards to. I love doing it and love receiving them as well. I'm an old softy any way, I love all these types of things.

What does it mean when a spouse sends an e-card? Well it can mean that they are thinking of you during the day and it's a prelude to what's coming later...or one is too lazy/"forgot" to get the real thing. Personally, I'd rather get an e-card than nothing at all.

Did hubby send you an e-card?

I have sent hubby sexy ecards to him while he is working before. Never have sent one for an actual special occasion like a birthday, always a real one for that.

My husband has sent me birthday e-cards before, but then he'd also give me a real card along with a gift. I think sending an e-card is a nice way to show someone that you're thinking of them, though some might see it as a little impersonal. Even if he'd only sent me an e-card, I wouldn't mind. Just the fact that he thought of me would make me happy.

My husband and I have sent each other a lot of e-cards over the years. It's really fun to see the creativity and thought that he puts into it, and it reminds me that he loves me and wants to make my day a little better.

I used to send them all the time...
I never got any back...
and who knows... my guess is he was computer illiterate and couldn't figure out how to show he appreciated me until it was over..

now I get emails all the time asking how I am... MEN!

We send e-cards all the time..

Whats funny my kids used them all of the time; simply the next generation utilizing the computer information age, no longer stand in a card store, reading and picking one out.

I send her E cards all the time, does not seem to mean as much as a paper card for some reason, I have received E cards also, and it really makes my day sometimes

Is that like an erotic card, or electronic card???? I guess if it were both it would be an eeCard.

They're great for the random 'just thinking about you' kind of thing, or for building a mood for later....but no subsitute for personal attention.

My spouse has never even sent me an EMAIL, never mind an ecard. However, he's not a computer person....and is a hunt-and-peck typist, lol. I like them, I think that's part of what sucks you in to an online romance....it shows the other person is thinking about you during the day...and just wanted you to know about it.

We have sent each other e-cards. It's the equivalent of writing each other a quick note, but in a new way.

Sometimes we have sent them to each other to make the other feel a part of their online life.

Well yes he did...not the first time...was actually hoping it meant he couldn't be bothered shopping for one...lol...aharrrr...my curiosity has been put to ease....

its actually a whole lot easier to pop into a news agency and pick up a card than it is to find a good one on the Internet
