The threads that seem to cause the most problems here are the political or religious ones. I thought that it may be a good thing to have a seperate forum for these discussions so I had my hubby install a free forum script for me on a domain name we had for a while. www.troubleshootingamerica.com (http://www.troubleshootingamerica.com/phpBB3/)
If you like to talk politics feel free to use it.
Who knows maybe it will be as popular as this one is:)

To no apparent avail, I disagree with this separation. Once again, because reality makes us feel just a little bit uncomfortable, we run from it, stick our head in the sands, and hope nobody shoots us in the ass. Once again, in the name of political correctness, we stifle free speech and honest discussion, consigning it way over there in the corner where nobody will be bothered, where nobody will be forced to face their responsibilities as citizens of this country and this planet.

The purpose behind discussion of the issues facing us today is not to impress others with our knowledge or expertise. It is to educate others to the alternatives, to try to sway the uncommitted, to influence the direction of the future. If we aren't strong in our opinions, ardent in our support, and firm in our resolve, then the potential for influence is greatly diminished.

The beauty of the public discussion isn't when one of the regular posters acknowledges a point --- it's when the silent majority (or minority) speaks up.

The greatest fault we, as Americans, can have is apathy. Silence does not indicate dissent; silence indicates surrender.

So, I invite all to TroubleShootingAmerica.com (TSA). I can't promise it will be pretty, or polite, or even cute. But, I can promise it will be important. Be part of the solution - not part of the problem.

I think its more my husbands idea because polotics is his big thing to talk about. Good luck to the two of you if you get talking because he is a big Kennedy supporter :D
Hopefully it brings in its own people that are looking to talk about such things.

Yep. Heaven forbid we might be challenged intellectually --- better to be safe and ignorant. Then, whatever happens isn't our fault.

its a seperate forum but so new Im sure you would have no problems registering your same user name. This way we can actually tell friends about something we have online without them thinking we are strange or swingers or something :(

Hubby just spent the afternoon working on it. Had to do away with the cheapo software he used because it was a security risk to the server. It wasnt very busy anyway but I would consider it a favor if some of you would go there and register and make a post or two. He does help me out allot here keeping this place alive. Please dont mention this site there though as people that know us may be there and they dont know about this place :gs

http://www.troubleshootingamerica.com/ I also added a link in the Menu Box ;)
