Apparently many people haven't gotten a chance to read the first thread about duplicate memberships. :(
Please don't register multiple user names. Please stick to the original one you used or ask and I will change your old one if you like.

I'm so thankful two are not permitted much less required!

Thanks for all you and your team do, Penny, and I promise I wouldn't give up my nearly 250 posts and start over again for love nor money.

I do thank you, mucho!

Evidently they haven't read this or the other thread where we asked them to stop doing it:(
Its kind of an insult to the rest of us. Would you like it if we posted in open who was who?
Just stop now and all is forgiven :kk

Send a short simple PM to each one. Wait 48 hours. If no reply, shut both off. You will then have their attention.:rules:

Now this kind of makes me wonder who I'm really posting to. And I don't like that feeling. If they are that deceptive here then I can only assume they are like that off the site and wouldn't want to associate with them at all.

Thanks Penny.

ok.. i am one who very occasionally use a 2nd identity... penny knows about it, has for a long time... i dont do it for reasons of bein sneaky underhanded, or anything like that.. its purely a fun thing, to create a bit of fun perhaps shit stir a little... most people know or figure out who it is...lol i cant change my accent..lol

however if this is a problem penny.. delete it... i can live with that....

Lena

Think loads of people know about you Tiger and know it is all in fun!
And we haven't seen 'him' in a long time!
It is those who are actually using their duplicate memberships in secret, hiding who they are or were originally to the other members, we are talking about! They are still using 2 or even 3 at the same time!

I admit I have a second name... I have told my friends about it.. I used it at first to avoid some people when I came in here and I just wanted to vent.. then I used it to post to one particular man... we wanted to keep our relationship a secret and to this day people still don't know who he is... and with the relationship dead... I want to keep it that way... but if you want to delete her please do.. she won't mind in the least bit.. I won't mind..

Well I see no good coming from having multiple identities for anyone no matter the reason. If you have to come up with a name that people don't originally know you under or come to love, like, or hate you under your not doing it in the best interest of everyone concerned. Honestly it doesn't matter your reason pick one and deal with it no matter who you are! Rationalizing that some people know so it makes it alright doesn't work, because I bet there are several aware of what is going on with the ones that are the issue right now. Thanks!

Lies will always be found out. Funny to say here at a site designed for spouses to find satisfaction and comfort elsewhere, but yeah...the lies will always be found out...too much trouble, I think to keep track of multiple personalities..unless yer name is Sybil...

I don't appreciate finding out that I've been talking to someone with a second name.

I've heard lately of a member questioning other members about their identities, in a accusatory manner....if you have a concern please bring it to the attention of a moderator.

I agree with you for that one. Too much work to think up something to say. I have heard it said that men use about 20,000 words a day and ladies use about 60,000.
Getting to premium might be sexist.

In the years I have been here, I have known people with more than one identity. Usually because they were being harassed by someone. Lately, I wouldn't know. Maybe they have a router, a pc and a laptop, two identities, and chat with themselves. (would that be cyber masterbation?)

Why not make it part off the rules of being on the site and that way, if caught, they get warned first and if it continues, banned? That would send a message.

Just letting our newer members know, incase anyone has been wondering what happened, that anyone with more then one usename, they will be deleted leaving you with just the one!
Any longer standing members should know better, so any second names comming through will be deleted too!
If there is a good reason why there is a second username attached to you, then let us know!

I like that idea Penny, I actually did that because I registered like 2 years ago and never really came in here, the name was lame and I wanted a different one, but I have not used the old one since I started the new one. And came from another site where you could change your name at will, but that was just for fun and anonymity sometimes, but you can go dark here if you want, so no need for that. But I never did it to spy on people though. So for those who are leading double lives, how many do you need, already leading a double life when you come in here, you need a double life here too???

I'm new here, and I have only one identity-me. Isn't that why we are here-to save our true identity of being married but still be open about who we are deep down? I have already seen some of the problems you face, Penny, and I feel for you. You play referee and judge, not an easy position. I would like to personally thank you for all that you do. Your hard work doesn't go unappreciated. Hang in there!

Man, reading all that double life w/ double sub-lives stuff makes my head hurt. I'm glad I'm boring enough that I only have to hide here behind one half-assed excuse for an alias.

confession time: I did sign up here orginally under my Myspace handle. Then I decided that probably was a bad idea and re-signed under this one.:sry

If your duplicate membership has been deleted, PLEASE do not re-register again with the same dulpilcate name or another one!!
2 chances are quite enough and that is way more then generous, do not let there be a third!! Infact do not let there be a second at all!
It really isn't fair to our members not knowing who you really are, especially if you are close to someone and they don't know you are here with a second name!
You could be deleted completely or banned!!
If you catch me on a bad day, your name might just be printed on here too!!

As I have said before if you have a problem or if there is a good reason why you need to do this then send me an e-mail with an explanation, otherwise your duplicate memberships will be deleted and then you completely if it keeps up!

For all those people who have signed up under 2 names or want to change their name, all you have to do is send an email to Lena and she can change your name for you, plain and simple. There is no need to create a totally new account. Besides the violation of the rules and untrustworthiness of it, it is very simple to have your name changed. I know of several members that have done it just to have a shorter name than their original handle. Common sense can go a long way and no one gets hurt in the process.

They do get deleted, and as I said they themselves will be banned if they insist....
And yeah if they catch me in a bad mean mood the list may start appearing!
The newbies may not have read about this yet, not that that is an excuse to try and fool anyone, but the longer standing members should know better, and lately we haven't had them doing this, think they have started to understand better!
Today we haven't had any so far!!!

My vote is... warn em once ... then post the list... its a sneaky ass thing to do , and if you are trying to gain some kind of information by being mislead, you deserve to lose your right to having multiple hidden identities.

Do we have any terms of use for the site that people must say they approve of when signing up? If so this should be part of it, if they did not read the terms that would be there problem. There should be a not tolerance rule.

Especially when others do not know that you do have another name!
Your second name will be stopped!
Now you know why if your other name is not working anymore!

Don't think it is in the place where they register, suppose we are never sure which rules we may have to make in the future!
But it is now in the Site rules forum!
Rules are likely to change with the times, so suppose it is difficult to think in advance of what to put into the registration part!
