Don't know who follows college baseball, but I noticed some of the teams mentioned on other threads have made it to the regionals.

LSU is hosting a regional in Baton Rouge. GEAUX TIGERS!!:55

Nebraska is hosting a regional in Lincoln.:eek:

Florida is hosting a regional in Tallahassee.:nu

Oklahoma isn't hosting but they in the Tempe regional.:wa:

:whee: It's a wonderful thing to be a Tiger fan, but it's not recommended for individuals with high-blood pressure, heart conditions, and women who are pregnant. I swear, I thought I could relax after we won the National Championship in football, but it was not to be. They're killing me. Every game I watch takes a year off my life. I'm sure of it. That said:

Yes...the only time I cheer against my SEC brethren is when they are playing UT. Otherwise...my heart and soul belongs to SEC sports, and it kills me living in ACC country.

Blessing or curse? The LSU-UNC game was suspended last night due to weather. Top of the first, UNC had 2 runs in(single, double, walk, 2 batters hit with the ball) and bases loaded with 1 out.

Now I will admit that our pitcher was stuggling; however, the weather interuption foiled his strategy of taking all the UNC batters out with wild pitches. :rolleyes:

Anyway, the game resumes tonight(weather pending) and GG is forced to endure another long day of nail-biting and stomach-churning. So pray for me, fellow flirters, and if you feel so inclined throw a word in for my Tigers too.

I can't understand why they started the game to begin with. I mean, the weather was clearly approaching, it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it was gonna' get bad real quick.:sg

And Martin, our pitcher, geez-louise!!! :yks When that one pitch hit that batter in the head, the voice of the Tigers, Jim Hawthorne, said: "That pitch would have knocked him clean out without a helmet." And the other guy says, "Knock him out? It would have killed him! Or, at the very least, put him in a vegative state for the rest of his life!"

But the funny-bone whack looked way more painful...lol...

Not only did they not "close the deal", they got clobbered 19-10. Fresno State hit just about every kind of pitch the Georgia bull-pen could toss at 'em. Final game tonight. Should be a good one.
