These would be "nice-to-have's"
-be able to search for all posts where someone "quoted" you.
-How about a way to find all posts where I was "thanked"?
-find all posts where I "thanked" someone else?
-find all posts where <username> thanked someone else?

All of the last three you can do. Go to your profile, click statistics & look down. You will see where you can look at all of the posts you thanked, and all of the posts you were thanked for.
To see if someone else was thanked, go to thier profile and click on statistics and click on the link that shows posts of thiers that were thanked.

For the first one, google the name you use here, anywhere your name is, it should show up there. Unless someone only used part of your name.
